Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - Jacksonville Beach

We were greeted kindly and after taking our order we were served. Food was 10/10 amazing! Friendly staff. Clean store.

I have been dedicating my lunch time since June to come to this establishment. I always call before I come and ask for the same thing. Never had an issue until yesterday on my lunch. Was placed on a long hold before I could place order. Rashad store manager repeated my order incorrectly so I had to correct him more than once. I asked for everything fresh. By the time I arrived to the pickup window. Order wasn't ready sat there about 7-8 minutes. When i did receive my food my chicken tenders looked like they were re-fried. I informed Rashad and he started going back in forth with me, stating they weren't burnt. I used to work in fast food and I cook so I know how chicken looks when it has been refried. Going back in forth with a customer, is definitely not what, a "manager" is supposed to do. So, I have an hour lunch and I wasted majority of my lunch waiting for my refried chicken because I asked for, it fresh. I definitely like Huey Magoos but I will never go to this location again. The ladies who would normally take my order would be a better fit as a manager. Thank you.

Food is typically really great. Sometimes the tenders are a little small but always have great flavor. Today our fries were pretty soggy and they are SO stingy with the sauce. One 2oz cup of sauce for fries and tenders is not enough. When we asked for more we were given an additional two sauces for us to share. We phrased it as “can we get a couple more of the honey mustard and a couple of the Magoo sauce” the staff only gave us one of each. I think for the price the standard should be two sauces for a three piece tender, three for a four piece, and four for a five piece.

I really loved it. My wife was meh about the food but I think It was what she picked. I had a chicken sandwich. It was really great. Super fresh. Fries were addicting. My wife had Garlic Parmesan tenders and I think it was over powering for her. None the less, definitely worth going back for that sandwich.
