I would raise legitimate issues to the principal concerning the mistreatment of my son by teachers only for my son to be pulled out of class and ridiculed by the principal with passive aggressive statements insinuating he was in more trouble. The only ones who were not drunk on power would be the 2 sweet ladies in the front office.The education is great here but the teachers do not create an environment conducive enough to support your childs social growth and development. There was one math teacher calling certain kids stupid when they got a problem wrong, my son hated that class because she would start yelling at him calling him by her husbands name. The favortism is unreal. My son had a 101% average in Bible yet he did not receive the award for it..Each year when it was given to other students teachers would glance at him, even the kids would say he had been robbed..mind you he is not a bad kid has received citizenship and prior to this school A-B honor roll. They like who they like and the leadership is to protect the teacher verses being non biased. I reached out to the teacher and principal asking why didnt he receive the award..no response given.. the next school year his bible teacher tells me he is the leader in that class and how he gets everyone excited about bible and helps to teach them things..that year again skipped over with no award.. I have another child but because of my son's experience I will not send her there and if your child is of color I would strongly recommend picking a different choice.
this school is a horrible school to attend to. if you are a darker skin tone, do NOT come here. my son had multiple complaints about how he was always “targeted” by certain employees. one teacher in general apparently got mad at him for getting something wrong and put him into trouble. my son has also gotten into trouble for “standing” i am so dissatisfied with this school and do not recommend it.
This school used to be such a great school until the new pastor and wife changed everything and still in the process of changing things. The school does not stand for what it claims to stand for. The pastors wife has let go teachers who have been there for years with no legitimate reasoning and she has a very null personality. Why change things that have been working for the Lord and change it to only work for what best suits yourself. This school has been a reputable school for many many years. Family and friends from the 70's, 80's, 90's and on have cherished this school and church. Well, no more. If you are only trying to please yourself and others alike this church will no longer be a great church/school. Long Live CEDAR HILLS BAPTIST CHURCH!!
This School is the best,Sweeter then Sweet Tea. The Teachers are perfect! The school, church,just everything is PERFECT!
The absolute most kind people with good values and charitable practices. The school is top notch Abekka Christian curriculum. My daughter is safe and happy and challenged daily.
