My wife and I recently visited Hope Church – Mayport with our daughter’s family, and it was a wonderful experience. I attended the Men’s Bible Study on Saturday morning and was impressed by the great group of men and the excellent, Scripture-centered lesson. We also attended the Sunday service. What stood out most was Pastor Chan’s clear love for God and his commitment to faithfully teaching His Word. The Gospel message was presented in a way that was both understandable and meaningful. Anyone sincerely seeking to know Jesus will hear the truth clearly here. Hope Church is still a young church with a relatively small congregation, but it is clearly growing—and it’s easy to see why. When God’s Word is faithfully taught, people are drawn to it. The facilities are excellent, the people are warm and welcoming, and the message being shared is truly life-changing. I highly recommend Hope Church – Mayport to anyone who wants to grow in their faith and better understand God’s Word.
My fiance and I were visiting my son and his family at Naval Station Mayport. We found Hope Church online and attended Easter Sunday. The lovely couple that greeted us at the door were so kind and friendly, sorry I can’t remember their names. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Worship Pastor Josh introduced himself and was so helpful, he answered questions we had about their childcare and the services provided were impressive. Pastor Aaron introduced himself and was warm and welcoming. The really impressive things happened once the service began, the worship was filled with the Holy Spirit. Pastor Aaron preached an exponentially great, understandable message. He preached a sermon I’d never even thought about, “The Great Cover Up”, discussing how leaders attempted to cover up the Resurrection of Jesus Christ our savior. I have sat under many great men of God and this by far was one of the best sermons I’ve ever heard. If we’re in the area again we will be here when the doors are open. If you’re looking for a home church, Hope Church would be a great place to be treated as family, bible led teaching and learning about the Word. I want to say thank you to the family of Hope Church for an amazing Resurrection Day service.
My Wife and I had been praying for a while for the LORD to lead us to a good local church and after researching Hope church and watching sermons online we decided that they aline with our values. We have been attending services now for 4 months we both have gotten baptized there and have become members. This church is nonjudgemental Bible and Christ based we are so happy to have a home with like hearted brothers and sisters.
We visited Hanna State Park this weekend from South GA. We've been in the fire this year and this was our victory celebration. Early Sunday morning around 2 AM, the Holy Spirit led me to Hope Church through a google search. Pastor announced their new class to train Godly men discussing the Titus 10 book. I had been praying on guidance in raising my son to be a Godly man. During Pastor's biblical message, my son started to get fussy and difficult to console. As I was exiting with my 3 children, I was greeted by the First Lady who led us to a beautiful lactation room where I was able to still attend church through a large window, hear the powerful message of God and attend to my children's needs. The message was biblical, right on time, relevant, and relatable. We look forward to visiting again. I ordered the Titus 10 book 😍🙌 We give honor to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit for Hope Church family in Christ 💓
Hope Church Mayport is an awesome and exciting undertaking to revitalize and rebuild in the place of an older church that was struggling. The Lord Jesus set before us an open door (Rev. 3:8; 4:1) to once again reach out to people and service members in the Atlantic Beach and Mayport areas and Mayport NAS. We are presently still a small congregation consisting of all age groups from toddlers to senior citizens. I am one of the seniors. Our pastor, Aaron, though young is experienced and wise beyond his years. He is an excellent preacher that puts a great deal of time into Bible study and prayer. He not only knows God's Word thoroughly, he is an excellent counselor with a genuine concern for our people and for souls to be saved and correctly discipled. We have a number of younger adults, some armed forces veterans, business people, mothers, fathers, grandparents and children. Each of us is growing in Christ. We are at Hope Church Mayport to worship the Lord Jesus with genuine faith. We seek to lift up Jesus Christ first, lead those that do not know Christ personally to a relationship with Christ, and to instruct those seeking help to walk a straight path with Jesus. We have nursery for the little ones, a mother's room if needed. We offer coffee and refreshments each Sunday. Hope is a work in progress as we all are. The Lord is doing great things at Hope. We would love to have you visit with us, sing with us, and receive God's blessings from His Word. We're excited about growing!
