Homer AC Bliss PA

During my first visit to his office, a current client warned that Homer had just screwed him over big time. I wish I had gathered my things and left then. But I had been referred by a trusted friend. "Homer will lie, cheat and steel for a W!" The problem was, although he required a whopping $5,500 for a simply child support modification, my W didn't seem to be his concern at all. On the day of my hearing, Homer bullied me in a conference room to sign an agreement to lower the current child support. He threatened that if I did not comply, he would bill me another $1,500 and he would be relentless in making sure that I paid every dime. I was a single mother who had to borrow most of the $5,500, I was tapped and he knew it. With a co-parent who's income was over 100k, instead of fighting for the welfare of my son, Homer made me lower my child support from almost $1,200 to $700. When I went to Homer's office to retrieve the many documents that I gave him to help build my case, Homer insisted that I pay him $1 per page to my my own documents back. I went to his office to insist that I be given my belongings without paying over $300. His wife called the police. I told them I would leave peacefully but I needed written proof of my purpose for being in the office. I then called the Florida Bar to file a complaint. The Florida Bar contacted Homer, gave him a date to return my documents by. He did so, without sending the very important transcript from interogatories for which he had made me pay an additional $500.00 during the case. Shortly after the settlement was reached. My son's father laughed as he said, "Homer Bliss was NEVER your lawyer, he was ALWAYS mine!" I WOULD NEVER USE NOR REFER ANYONE TO HOMER AC BLISS FOR ANYTHING.

Mr. Bliss represented me for my child custody and time-sharing case and I cannot speak highly enough of him and his office. He exemplifies professionalism, knowledge, and compassion. He was organized and concise in the judge’s presence and he achieved my goals without missing a beat. I would definitely use Mr. Bliss for any of my future legal needs!
