I’ve stayed at Home 1 a few times a few years back and the safety was horrible, the management was nasty, the rooms were half cleaned. Recently I went back after hearing they are under new management. I would like to say Home 1 was super quiet, the quality of the mattress is better than Hilton!! I met them GM at check in she was very sweet and respectful, she greeted me at the door, insured I had the perfect room for me and guaranteed any complaints and she will handle them personally! Housekeeping was great!!! The shower pressure was amazing, the cleaning was 10/10, service was provided at my request and even better compared to past visits the rooms were super cozy and impressionably clean. I notice the new vending machines, marshmallow soft pillows, silk like sheets, not to mention the beautiful and quiet balcony view. I cannot wait to come back to Jacksonville I would refer all friends and family.

Home 1 has made a phenomenal transition!! The new general manager Ava is immaculate her customer service and the way she handles the building is amazing. She’s a people’s persons very helpful she listens and goes above and beyond for us ! Me and my family stayed at the home 1 for 5 days we had great room service the parking lot and grounds were clean and tidy. The wash rooms were clean and free of trash and clutter . Thank you Mrs.Ava for a great stay ! We Will be returning
The room was the worst I've been in here in Jacksonville. The bed was a food up bed that was so uncomfortable that you could feel every spring. There was a leak somewhere. It was coming out from the bottom of the wall. The whole bathroom has a soggy floor. The woman who rented to me was wonderful. The lady I reported the leak to asked me what I wanted her to do about it. She was awful.
You get what you pay for. I am sure there are far more better options near by. The room smelled like cigarettes. The furniture looked either broken or really beat up. The bed was weird and there where only 2 pillows. The room all in all was rough. We stayed for one night and that was enough. The location is sketchy and I do not recommend to go outside your room at night. The hotel has potential but just needs a lot of tlc.
Lord, I received a lesson to not be cheap with hotels lol. If anything this was a comical experience. I checked in and was given a room key. I entered the room to find trash.. clothes and no bed sheets. I went back to the check in and explained what I saw. I was given another room key. This time I entered the new room and the smoke alarm was going off. As I walked back one of the members said what's wrong now? I explained and he said the office clerk went on break and that I needed to track her down. After 15 minutes of walking around I found her and she was helping another gentleman with the sane issue. We went through 20 rooms to find a good one. Clerk explained this happens often and is frustrating because the system says the room is good, but it isn't the case unfortunately. The clerk was kind, but the motel needs a better system. Anyways, was a funny memory I will look back on and I will have learned to get a higher priced hotel next time. It matters
