We had a great experience purchasing a 2027 Polaris XP 1000 from Holeshot Powersports. Our salesman Matt was very nice and easy to work during the whole process. He answered all of our questions and was able to get us the deal we were looking for. It was one of the best and easiest sales experiences we have had and I would highly recommend them!
I had a great second purchase experience this past Saturday. I worked with Matt Owens to take possession of a new Ranger XP 1000 Northstar. Matt was very professional and knowledgeable throughout the process. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and zero pressure which is important to me being my entire career has been in sales. The finance department was also excellent. I highly recommend this business if you are in the market!
We specifically purchased the extended warranty on my boyfriend’s Indian Roadmaster because we wanted peace of mind if any issues ever came up. Shortly after purchase, my boyfriend had higher handlebars installed by the dealership. He immediately noticed the front brake line had been crimped during the installation and was rubbing against the dash plastic. He brought the motorcycle back the very next day to have it addressed. He was told it would be fine and that they would take care of it the next time the bike came in for service. We live over an hour away, and because there were no other issues with the bike, it wasn’t brought back for approximately a year. We trusted the dealership’s professional judgment that it was safe. About a year later, while riding in a group, he suddenly lost his front brakes. The only reason this didn’t end in a serious crash was because he was able to safely downshift and slow the motorcycle. We immediately brought the bike back to the dealership. Despite knowing about the previously crimped brake line, they stated they couldn’t replicate the problem, updated the firmware, charged him a labor fee, and sent him home. A few weeks later, while serving as road captain on another long ride with his motorcycle group, the exact same problem happened again once the bike heated up. Again, this could have ended tragically. When he called and specifically asked whether they had checked the crimped brake line, they finally agreed it needed to be replaced—but required us to purchase the brake line, costing over $250, just to schedule the repair. On the day of the repair, what was supposed to be a two-hour appointment turned into more than four hours. He owns a pool service company, so instead of returning to work as planned, he was late getting started and still had to drive over an hour home, change vehicles, and still service all of his scheduled pools before finally getting home around 9:00 p.m. To make matters worse, he was charged over $300 in labor because they claimed the repair wasn’t covered under warranty and that he had waited too long to bring it in. That explanation is unacceptable. He reported the damaged brake line the day after it was installed and was told by your staff that it was safe and could wait until his next service visit. He relied on your technicians’ professional advice. He then brought the motorcycle back immediately after experiencing brake failure, yet the obvious issue was still overlooked. This wasn’t simply an inconvenience. It was a serious safety issue that put my boyfriend’s life, my life, his daughter’s life, and everyone riding around him at risk. We purchased the extended warranty expecting safety-related concerns to be taken seriously. Instead, our concerns were dismissed until he experienced multiple brake failures. We will be taking this matter to Indian Motorcycle corporate because no customer should have to experience repeated brake failures after reporting a known issue. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we can no longer trust this dealership with our motorcycle or our safety. We will not be returning for future sales or service, and I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone who expects their safety concerns to be taken seriously.
I had a great experience working with Matt Owen at Holeshot Powersports. I purchased a 2026 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 along with a trailer, and Matt made the entire process easy from start to finish. There was no pressure, no runaround, and none of the typical back-and-forth you sometimes get when buying something like this. Matt was straightforward with me, answered my questions, and worked out what I felt was a very fair deal on the Ranger and trailer. Everything we discussed was exactly what I got when it was time to finish the paperwork. Good customer service is getting harder to find, so when somebody does a great job, I think it’s worth mentioning. If you’re looking for a side-by-side or other powersports equipment, I would definitely recommend asking for Matt Owen at Holeshot Powersports. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from him again. Had a rear tire flat on 95. No one in the area was able to respond. I limped it the closest auto parts store. Bought a plug kit. The plug flung out at highway speed. Holeshot took my Indian in, although they were booked all day. They made time to replace my tire and did a regular oil change. Definitely saved me. The real reason this meant so much to me is because I will be starting a new job working for the white house on a special America 250 project in 2 days. So I needed to be back home in NC by tomorrow night to pack for a month. So a hats off big thank you to the support staff here. Super helpful on a last minute walk in repair.
