Perfectly standard florida beach experience. Wasn't overcrowded, very family friendly. Definitely a good place to be.
First time in Jacksonville and wanted to take my mother to find seashells. This beach was close to our hotel, about 20-30 minutes away. If I recall, there are 11 pavilion which we parked at the end. A few parking spot upfront and very quiet. Love how this side of the beach is not crowded.
It nice but my wife said the restroom was nasty. There is a few nice things for the young kis inside the park. We will be back. Look up Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park. The locals call it Hanna Park.
Nice place to spend ar the beach not too crowded. Be aware 5$ entry to the park
I love going here pretty regularly. They have bathrooms places to shower off your feet and a handicap walkway. No stairs. It's not as crowded as some beaches closer to town. There's always plenty of parking. I highly recommend this beach
