3 miles long / awesome views day and night

There’s something poetic about crawling across the Buckman Bridge at 3 mph while your will to live dissolves like morning fog over the St. Johns. The guardrails whisper sweet nothings, and the water below calls louder with every brake light. Not the best place to end it all — too much traffic, someone would definitely honk. But if you’re looking for a place to think about it? Five stars. Docked one because I made it across.

The view is beautiful. Now if people would learn how to drive. You can't stop in the middle of the bridge and whats up with the driving way too close behind you? Rush hour is horrible. But turn on Your radios and look at the water. Try to not too get anxious. This is Jacksonville. A lot of people and a lot a lotof traffic is expected. You want a bad road?try getting down San Jose Blvd. That's worse than buckman any day and time. I've lived here 13 years, and Blanding and San Jose are the worst to drive on .
