Been getting my hair cut by John for almost 15 years. Consistently the best haircut that I have ever gotten. He also cuts my 5yo son’s hair and was great with him. If you want a great barbershop without the unnecessary frills and up charges then this is your spot!

If I could give a lower review I would. Wasn’t greeted or anything and the place is absolutely filthy including where they keep their clippers, trimmers, guards, etc. Floor looks like it hasn’t been swept in weeks. Homeboy leaves for 10min without saying anything then proceeds to give me a horrible haircut. I asked for a bald fade with my right side blended in a comb over style…. That ain’t it.
Honestly, I was just riding around looking for a barbershop to get my beard trimmed. I saw this placed and was glad that I went in. John gave me the best trim that I’ve had in a long time. My search is over, I have found my barber. Thanks John for the fantastic job on my beard.
Best spot around. It's not close. Old school no bs
John has cut all 3 of my boys hair for years and my youngest is on the spectrum. He is so patient with him. His skills are amazing!! All of my friends bring their boys here. As long as I’m in Jacksonville no matter the drive I’m going to always bring my kids to Heavy Hitters.
