We have had an amazing experience with HLDA. My daughter started dance a lot later than many of the other students. The instructors have been so supportive, helping her catch up on the basics and feel comfortable in her classes. And I can't say enough nice things about the administrative team. They always go above and beyond!

Five Stars – A Truly Exceptional Dance Studio! My daughter has been attending Heather Loveland Dance Academy for the past six years, and I can confidently say it has been one of the most positive and enriching experiences for her—and for us as a family. From the moment we stepped into the studio, we knew we had found something special. Each studio space is beautifully designed to provide the best environment for dancers of all ages, with state-of-the-art floors, mirrors, and sound systems that make every class feel professional and inspiring. But what truly sets HLDA apart is the heart and soul of the academy: Heather and her team of instructors. Every teacher my daughter has worked with over the years has been incredibly talented, supportive, and genuinely invested in her growth—not just as a dancer, but as a person. Whether working with beginners or advanced students, the instructors show immense patience, encouragement, and understanding. They meet each dancer where they are and help them build both skill and confidence in a nurturing, yet challenging environment. Going to dance class has been a great outlet for our daughter through middle school, and starting high school this year. Dance has been a great place for her to escape the pressure of school and release tension from a busy theatre schedule. Heather has always been understanding of her other commitments outside of class, which highlights her compassion and support for her students to be successful in all walks of life, not just in dance class! As a parent, I’ve always felt welcomed and valued at HLDA. The communication is excellent, and the staff is always approachable, kind, and understanding. They truly go above and beyond to create a sense of community and to ensure every dancer and parent feels like they’re part of something meaningful and truly special. Watching my daughter grow year after year—technically, artistically, and personally—has been a joy. The performances are always top-notch, beautifully choreographed, and professionally executed, reflecting the dedication and passion poured into every dance class. Heather Loveland Dance Academy is more than just a dance studio; it’s a second home for so many children, a place where they’re not only learning to dance, but building lifelong friendships and learning to believe in themselves. We’re incredibly grateful to be part of this amazing dance family.

We have loved having our daughter at Heather Loveland’s for the past 4 years. The studio provides a very loving, encouraging environment for dancers to grow in their craft as well as develop lifelong personal skills to be well rounded adults someday. I decided to put my daughter in this studio of course for the high standard of technique and skill taught; however, what has made us stay is the wonderful nurturing culture that is provided.

My family and I have been dancing at Heather Loveland Dance Academy Fruit Cove campus since Heather took over the studio in 2022, and it truly has become our home away from home. I have three children in dance (ages 4, 8, and 10), and I also take part in some of Heather’s adult classes. It’s rare to find a place that supports, encourages, and grows with your whole family, but HLDA does exactly that. From the very beginning, Heather and her amazing team have been attentive to every detail of my children’s dance education and overall well-being. The teachers strike that perfect balance between making dance fun and fostering real technical growth. I’m constantly impressed with how much my kids have learned—they’ll often demonstrate their dance steps at home or even perform for each other in the living room! As a parent, it’s such a relief knowing that everything—from the music and choreography to costumes and performances—is age-appropriate and thoughtful. It really puts this mama’s heart at ease. And the support doesn’t stop in the classroom! Whether I’ve had a question, needed help, or just wanted to connect, Heather and her team are always approachable and responsive. Special shout-outs to Ms. Bethany and Ms. Mindy at the front desk, who are always kind, helpful, and welcoming, and of course, to Ms. Heather herself, whose passion and leadership make the studio the warm and inspiring space that it is. We’ve loved every teacher we’ve had and feel incredibly grateful to be part of this encouraging, joyful, and committed dance community. We can't imagine dancing anywhere else!
