HCA Florida Royal Pines Emergency

My 84-year-old mother suffered a back injury while bending over, causing excruciating pain that radiated down her leg to her calf. Unable to stand due to the intense pain, we arrived at the HCA Florida facility on July 28th at approximately 10 pm. As we stepped through the sliding doors, Brian, the first to greet us, swiftly escorted us to a room. The automated registration process was remarkably efficient, and we were fortunate enough to connect with a live chat support operator. This gentleman patiently guided us through the forms, ensuring that we had all the necessary information. Our journey continued with Lynn, a helpful and attentive staff member. Dr. Connolly, the medical professional we encountered, stood out as an exceptional doctor. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything to my mother, me, and my husband, addressing any questions we had with patience and clarity. Dr. Connolly’s meticulous attention to detail was evident throughout our consultation. One of the most heartwarming moments of our visit occurred sometime after midnight. Brian, our compassionate nurse, shared some wonderful news with us. His daughter had given birth to a beautiful baby girl, and he proudly presented us with a picture. We were all filled with joy and celebration, making this a truly memorable experience. We had a wonderful experience. According to the HCA chart that outlines patient support timelines based on the level of assistance required in the emergency room, our visit coincided with the recommended timelines. Thank you Brian, Lynn, and Dr. Connolly. We will recommend that people use this facility if an emergency arises.

My experience was very good. Everyone was very helpful, attentive, and caring. The nurse and the doctor had a very good bedside manner. The doctor took her time to explain the medical treatment thoroughly. I highly recommend.

I went to HCA Royal Pines ER on 5/14/26 due to being sick from a chronic illness i suffer with. The entire staff was amazing. Ron was one of the absolute best nurses i have ever encountered in an emergency room. He was very attentive and compassionate and you can tell he takes his job and the well being of his patients very serious. The doctor, Dr. Sylvia was equally as attentive and showed compassion for what i was going through as well. She was very thorough in her exam and she made me feel like I was the only patient in the ER that night. Coming from someone that unfortunately is no stranger the the ER I was very impressed. Phenomenal!! Keep up the good work.

I took my daughter here, she was sick obviously. From the moment I walked in, every single person that was on this shift was beyond the stars rude!! The doctor continuously screamed at me, had the police called & told me I can't go anywhere with my baby, when I had said I was going to go to a better hospital. I hope this entire hospital finds God especially that doctor. My daughter isn't doing any better & I will never ever bring my sweetheart daughter to a horrible environment hospital like this one. I have no idea how they have almost 5 stars.
