HCA Florida Park West Emergency

This visit was absolutely incredible. I came in with knee pain previously diagnosed as potential sepsis of the knee at a clinic across the street. I was greeted by the nurse training behind the glass wall. She was very kind lots of smiles, offered a wheelchair I declined. She came around anyway and brought me a wheelchair, which was very gracious. Keep in mind I’m a rather large 6’2” 300 pound man and not easy to wheel around on the good day, let alone someone with a bad knee. I think her name is Bii Merritt?sp? My RN today was Jackeline Martin, my PA was Amber Martin. Unrelated. Again lots of Grace. Lots of smiles. Lots of answers to my questions. They are very patient very kind. They were very careful to help me understand why the previous clinic had misdiagnosed my knee, and why I didn’t need to worry about an infection potentially ending up in an emergency amputation or worse. When I got a shot in the hip, Jackie prepared me for the worst and I truly barely felt a thing! After an x-ray, where the x-ray machine came to my room (that’s pretty cool), I was eventually discharged with some proper medication, namely anti-inflammatories in my case. Thank you arthritis. Not to be out done, I was visited by Tina Phillips, the main lead nurse who followed up at the end to make sure that everything was to my level of satisfaction. This is a long review, the service that I received is worth it. The people who I interacted with were fantastic. Having been told at another clinic that if I had waited another day or two to get my “infected” knee, looked at that I was very close to potentially losing my leg or worse, death. I entered today, obviously with a high level of fear and anxiety. Jackie and Amber immediately read the room, and could see my anxiety through my sad dad jokes and other attempts to diffuse my feelings. Again, gracious, kind, patient, informative, I could go on.. I hope I don’t get injured again, but I know the place I’m going to visit the next time if I do. And I think you should highly consider HCA healthcare Florida Park West emergency for your needs. Did I mention the wait was less than two minutes?

I have been to park west ER many times as it is the closest to my home, and being a single mother with 3 kids. My experience in the past visits have not always been the best, but today I went for myself with a personal concern of health. Doctor Tom was the physician assigned to me and he was prompt and very polite! By the end of my visit, I was more than thrilled to have been taking care of exactly how I needed! Doctor Tom is a rare, genuine, and personable care giver; it is clear that he truly is in the right field of work. He cared about the knowledge of the health condition and I feel as though he went above and beyond for multiple reasons. Thank you Tom for being an amazing person helping to heal others!

I want to take a moment to thank everyone at the hospital for the care I received. I came to the ER (08/25/26)with severe abdominal pain and vomiting, and the medical team quickly evaluated me and discovered that I had acute appendicitis. I ended up needing surgery, and I am very grateful for how quickly I was treated. From the ER staff to the doctors, nurses, and surgical team, I truly appreciate everyone who took care of me and made sure I was okay. I know working in healthcare is not easy, and I am especially thankful for the compassion, professionalism, and attention I received during a scary and unexpected situation. Thank you to everyone who played a part in my care. I am now recovering at home, and I am very grateful for the care I received. ❤️

My experience at HCA could not have been better. Thank you. Everyone I interacted with, from check-in to check-out, was professional, competent, and friendly. The wait was brief and I received excellent care. They then followed up perfectly by notifying my primary care provider of my visit. I would recommend this service to anyone who needs urgent care.
