Betsy was a breath of fresh air during divorce. She was easy to get a hold of and most times I was able to get an answer to emergent questions in less than 24 hours. As I teacher my schedule can be very unforgiving for scheduling calls and she regularly made time for me. Betsy was patient when going through documents and offered clear and concise answers and counsel, many of those answers came through email, which made it very easy for me to refer back to them. She was very realistic about the spectrum of potential outcomes depending on the scenarios I was being presented with on rapid fire. I always felt I was treated as a person first and as a billable client second. While I definitely don’t recommend divorce, when it became imminent, Betsy is exactly the cool, calm, and collected person I needed to have in my corner. She was not my first attorney on this case, but she was definitely the one that brought both calm and clarity to it.

Betsy Haslett represented not only my case but me with expert care and compassion. From the very 1st phone and speaking to Joann I knew I had chosen the correct attorney. Hiring Betsy Haslett was a complete waste of time and money. I retained her for a high-conflict divorce, expecting her to advocate for me and protect the best interests of my children. Unfortunately, she failed to fight for me at every critical turn. Her lack of assertiveness and unwillingness to challenge the opposing party left me feeling completely unrepresented. In the end, I had no choice but to retain a different attorney—someone who actually stepped up and fought for me and my kids. I do not recommend her to anyone going through a contested divorce.

Haslett Law is one of the best Law firms I have ever had an encounter with hands down, they handled my case professionally and actually fought/saved me from such a headache, I will for sure recommend them to anyone/be in contact if I ever have a bind again. JR in particular made me feel like I was watching an episode of Suits/was very knowledgeable and made things go by very smooth.
