I chose Harbour Dental Care because of all the great reviews I saw, but after my experience, I honestly wish I had gone somewhere else. I went in expecting to get a routine dental cleaning, only to spend an hour and a half getting imaging done and then be told I would have to schedule another appointment just to get the cleaning I thought I was there for in the first place. I was extremely frustrated that this was not clearly communicated to me beforehand. From the very beginning, the first question I was asked was whether I liked my smile. Instead of focusing on the routine cleaning I expected, the appointment turned into repeated attempts to convince me to fix my overbite and the slight imperfections on my bottom teeth, which I personally do not even consider crooked. It felt more like I was being sold additional dental work than having my dental needs addressed. What made the experience even worse was the attitude I received when I expressed that I thought I was coming in for a cleaning. Rather than being understanding and explaining the situation professionally, the response felt rude and dismissive. I also noticed that they hand out review cards to patients. Considering that the positive reviews were the main reason I chose this office, that left me questioning how representative those reviews really are. I cannot speak to how other people have had their experiences, but mine was nowhere near what I expected based on the reviews I read. Overall, I left feeling frustrated, pressured about the appearance of my teeth, and disappointed that I spent an hour and a half at an appointment without receiving the cleaning I came for. I value honesty, clear communication, and respectful treatment, and unfortunately, that was not the experience I had here.
Absolutely amazing experience overall at Harbour dental. From the initial lady who took me back was super nice polite and explained everything. Also the orthodontist was super nice as well as the dentist. He explained everything very well. Told me the plan of action. At that time, the office manager put together a plan as well as payment. At that time, Miss Marion, the office manager was so so wonderful. She sat with me for over 45 minutes explaining everything and helping me to get approved through Cherry to get my dental work done so I can make payments. Absolutely fantastic group but what an amazing Office manager. Thank you so much, Miss Marion.
Lawanda was fantastic at my appointment today! She was gentle, thorough, and explained everything as she went, which made the whole visit stress-free. My teeth have never felt cleaner. She was friendly and professional from start to finish. I'll definitely be asking for her next time. Highly recommend!
Nyla was hands down the most beautiful and caring soul to start my day! She was so patient and kind with every response and question that I had. I have had bad experiences in the past and she created a vibe that was so fluid it felt like I was with a childhood friend, keeping me at ease throughout the process. From the X-rays to questions about cosmetic options she gave me everything I needed but also made me feel great with my own smile as is. Would recommend this office and her to anyone needing dental services or just a great conversation! Cannot wait to come back and have my next appt with them!!!
If I could give 10 stars I would! Everybody there was extremely friendly. I have never had a more thorough exam to see what my dental plan needs to be to save my teeth. A big shout out to Shae, Mona, and Dr.Basha for their patience with all my questions, extensive knowledge, and kindness!
