I met Jason “Pappy”. He was a hoot. He sold me a T-Shirt and a medium size Glowing Ball and did a custom job on it, for me. We parked one block away from his corner Shop and made Pappy’s store our base camp. My Niece & Nephew were with me, Jason was very welcoming and hospitality to us. Each time we came by he allowed us to sit on his bench and relax our tired feet. What a great guy. We discovered we had a lot in common in our life travels and we spent an hour or more reminiscing our travels and experiences. When I left I felt I had know Pappy all my life. BTW, one of my other nieces “Landra” named me Pappy when she was just two years old. lol
Just had pappy do a custom sea turtle for my mom for a mother’s day gift, he gave a very fair price and it even comes with a led light that changes colors! Very cool guy that’s down to earth. Had a good conversation with him and he’s super friendly with everyone. Hospitality was impeccable genuine man with a welcoming spirit ended up staying even after the lantern was built just to enjoy the owners company. As someone on a whimsical vacation this was definitely a blessing
Great experience again at Happy Pappy’s. We first visited in August 2022 and again in December 2025. Great service both times by Mike I believe? Made a custom Five Nights at Freddys on our first trip that he mailed to us. Then remembered who we were a few years later when we mentioned that. Photos of the lights we got this time for our kids. Def recommend for a one of a kind light & celebratory reward after for the adults. Iykyk.
The guy that owns this place is awesome! Thanks to his personal tutorial that he game me and my husband, we now have our own glowing ball of doom! And after I purchased the pieces from him, he gave out a shot of Bourbon to us.
what a charming little shop!! The owner, Jason Pappas (alias Happy Pappy!) was awesome and made my lamps, my choice of size, colors, shapes and with or without plain or special color changing and or musical light bulbs, in front of me in about 10 minutes! Friendly and welcoming as can be, all told an enjoyable shopping experience and very special gifts for friends as well as for my own home . Thanks, Jason!!!
