Participated in the 31st St Johns River Celebration Cleanup. Met with the group at 9:15am and received gloves, a garbage bag, and a trash picker. Perfect weather, as in sunny, cool and not humid in the morning, breezy to reduce bugginess, and not crowded at campsites. By the time the temperature warmed up at 1130am, it was full of kids playing in the playground and multiple groups arriving for runs, bike rides, dog walks, and private gatherings at the picnic sites. Lots to do on land and on water, and an atmosphere of mutual respect and sharing makes this a great destination for many diverse interests. It was great to see and hear local birds, and I overheard that there is a gator in the nearby lake? Toilet facilities were adequate and clean. Note: bring your own wipes and possibly soap, extra garbage bags, and please remember to clean up after yourselves! Lots of folks left clothing behind, too.

We had a great cookout out the pavilion right near a beach entrance parking and restrooms. Dogs were allowed at the pavilion but I don't know about Beach... But some of my friends had their dogs at the pavilion for sure 😊
I was really disappointed with the restroom conditions at Hanna Park. They were extremely messy, very dirty, and clearly not being maintained. There was no sign of recent cleaning at all. For a public park that so many families visit, this level of neglect is unacceptable. Definitely needs immediate attention and regular upkeep.
Great place for everyone to do everything. Don't do the same thing all of the time. MTB, hike , fish, camp, surf, tan, picnic, canoe, Zipline.... and spend time with your loved ones. Make the time and take the trip
Beautiful beach! Lots of parking! Public restrooms & picnic shelters were available.
