Hangar One Bistro Eatery & Bar

First time here and we were so impressed from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and felt special without being stuffy. Such a cool experience to be overlooking planes coming inn and leaving. Our server was absolutely FANTASTIC! We started with the bread service, which came out warm with delicious oil and butter and immediately set the tone for the meal. We ordered the grouper and the duck, and both were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The presentation was stunning too. Every plate felt thoughtfully done. A fun surprise was finding out it was BOGO dessert night, so naturally we had to try two. The crème brûlée was delicious, but the cake special with pistachio gelato completely stole the show. Absolutely outstanding. We skipped cocktails this visit and kept it simple with a Stella, but one unexpectedly appreciated detail: the water actually tasted good! Fellow Floridians will understand. 😂 Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Brunch at Hangar One was an outstanding experience. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, with views that any aviation enthusiast will appreciate. I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad, and it was fantastic. Their house-made Caesar dressing is incredibly creamy and packed with flavor. My coworker had the steak and eggs with chimichurri sauce, and it was an absolute flavor bomb. Every bite was delicious. There's plenty of space at the bar, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy the experience. If you're lucky, you might even get to meet the "Three Amigos" in the back! The chef is truly talented, and the quality of the food reflects that. Staff are so nice and helpful. I'll definitely be back. Hangar One Bistro Eatery & Bar is one of those hidden gems you discover and immediately want to tell people about. Located directly inside the St. Augustine Airport, this aviation themed restaurant offers true runway dining. We enjoyed cocktails while watching planes take off and even saw private jets arriving. If you are looking for a unique date night spot, aviation themed dining, or a restaurant with a view in St. Augustine, this should be on your list. We originally stopped in just for drinks, but when we saw pierogi on the menu and learned they were handmade by the owner’s mother, we had to try them. They were tender, perfectly filled, and deeply authentic. We awarded them our Best of the Best Dish because they were truly memorable and rare in quality. Cocktails were well crafted and served with craft ice, which we always appreciate. Service was excellent, friendly, and welcoming. If you are searching for romantic dinner spots, airport dining experiences, or unique restaurants in St. Augustine, Hangar One Bistro Eatery & Bar is worth the visit.

Very fun throwback to when the "fancy" restaurant in our town was at the airport. Brought me back to my childhood except better drinks and better food. The drinks are very fun. New creations I've never had before. Food is top notch.
