To whomever needs hairapy or any hair needs, This is the place to go...whether you have wild curls, whirls or frizz. Color is her specialty and hair care top notch. Never in the 12 years has she done wrong by my hair in cut, color or styling and helped guide me into better care of my hair. She is the only hairstylist that can make my son's hair behave. His widows peak and wiley hair whirls make you want to buzz it off. But the true hairstylist she is, she can cut and shape it to his whim and has given him such a moral boost in his confidence. In fact, I've taken my mom to her and she is the first person who listened to how she wanted it cut, understood and created the cut and color she wanted. I am so happy I found Carolina! I moved to the area almost 2 years ago and I’ve seen a few different stylist but wasn’t loving my hair. Well I’ve definitely found my salon home now. Carolina was professional, kind, and efficient. I had a total hair transformation. I’m finally feeling like myself again and I owe it to her. I highly recommend her for all your hair needs.

The pros of my experience with Carolina are that she was very warm and welcoming, and I enjoyed my time in the salon. I went for a balayage, which I’ve had done many times in the past. Initially when I was leaving the salon, my hair was styled and looked fine. Within about 6 hours, I started to develop white/gray stripes and worried maybe it was just an issue with toner. Carolina was very nice and offered to re-tone it in the future. However, within 24 hours, my hair continued to turn white, my roots began to orange, and my hair started falling out in giant white clumps that had a gelatin consistency (see photos). I contacted Carolina and she was very nice and apologetic and offered to do a conditioning treatment in the future. Things became so bad that I urgently went to a local salon where they said I was very badly over-processed and had major damage. They were able to get me to a point where my hair looks “normal,” but I’m back to completely brown with no highlights. Carolina offered to pay for the “fix” (conditioning tx and toner at another salon), but refused a refund. I do think if your hair is burned off in giant white clumps that a refund of the $320 price is the very least a salon owner would offer.
