I stopped in 2 weeks ago for a simple LP Gas pigtail line to hook up my propane tank to the trailer. The one that I purchased said it would work, it didnt. The gas would not flow out of the hose, it must be for a different application but nothing stated this on the packaging. I called Hagan, explained the situation and ask her to hold the last pigtail in stock for me, she also suggested that I bring the propane tank. Upon my arrival, she immediately exchanged the item. I tried the other one and got the same result. 3 employees helped me to try to come with a resolution. One of them pulled a pigtail made be a different manufacturer, brought it to me and said to try this one. It worked! The item was of better quality and of course had a slightly higher price. But it worked, which is what I needed. However, they went above and beyond and also gave me a $5.00 off coupon to use for this purchase. It was a stressful situation because I needed the pigtail due to my original one was leaking. These people at Hagan Ace Hardware showed empathy and concern for my problem and found a remedy. That's what customer care is all about and they do it best! Thank you to the 3 ladies that truly helped me.
I ordered something online for in-store pickup. Evidently, As a was driving to the Hagen Ace hardware 8 received an email canceling my order. The reason listed was because the item was not in stock. I arrived to pick up my item only to be informed it had been cancelled by email. I asked the employees to direct my to the Bungie cords, the item I ordered online. The employee walked me to the item. I found the item I was looking for and had ordered online. It was in stock and on the shelf. I'm not sure why I tried to use the pick up in store process. It had no useful information. According to the computer the item was in stock but the human employee could not identify it on the shelf. Glad I didn't count on the employee report of the item not being in stock.
Great local helpful hardware and everything store! The staff is always helpful and they are knowledgeable in the products they sell! Great plant section to beautify your yard or feed the family. I do like that over the last remodel the outdoor fishing, apparel, kayak, water shoe and cooler section increased in size. This had no affect whatsoever on the other products they stock. Love the community days where they cook out at no charge and hand out flags to everyone on the 4 th. This is my first step before the big box stores and 9.5 times out of 10 they have what I am looking to buy. We are lucky to have such a gem that is locally owned and operated! Shop Local! Florida Man Approved!
The new register area is so silly that I avoid going there & opt to drive further to another store where I can check out before pushing a loaded cart through a maze. I also found the plant selections - from bulbs to herbs to bushes - to be almost double the price of elsewhere. I give 3 stars because of the quality of plant 🪴 gear & supplies & because the staff is nice.
Ace has always carried the product I’m in need , from paint to compactors to garden items to doors to grills and more. I have always been treated with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean with a touch of a home feeling. I strongly recommend ace for all your needs. Staff outstanding an my interaction with Tammie confirms my choice for ace hardware. My next project front storm door. Tom
