Went in this morning to get a house key made for my granddaughter. I was helped by someone almost immediately and they were most patient with my selection choice of key color. The new key fits just perfectly into my door. And it seems that my “helper” at the store is the new store manager!! She is knowledgeable while being efficient, patient and kind. As a senior, I surely appreciate these gifts, as well as someone knowing her stuff without being condescending. I hope she’s here leading the way for a good long time. Thank you!
Love this place. The convenience, the free popcorn and now I saw they have an awesome electronic fixtured knife sharpener. This is a major time saver for my beach time when I am here and the staff are great of course. As long as these types of stores thrive, I have some hope for our American civilization.
Great experience ordering and receiving a Weber grill Ace people put it together, brought over, loaded the gas tank and successfully test it. in addition, a bottle of barbecue sauce was included! Also, the grill had a Weber aluminum disposal grease catcher installed. I have used them before but did not expect to find one included. Highly recommended Ace store.
I have NEVER had an issue with plants until I started buying them here. Over the past year, I’ve purchased five plants, five pots, three different types of soil, plus root stimulator and plant food from this store. Despite following the advice given by staff regarding sunlight, watering, pot size, and care, every single plant has died. What’s most frustrating is the inconsistency in the guidance. One employee recommended cactus soil, while another later told me to use regular potting soil. Janet specifically advised me to buy a “$13 bag of Black Gold soil,” which actually rang up at least $20. At this point, I’m done trying to salvage plants from this place. I’ve spent an unreasonable amount of money here for such poor results, and I’m beginning to question if the plants they sell are sick. I won’t be returning.
I recently purchased 5 blueberry bushes from various retailers the one I got from this store was the only one with the proper soil PH level and properly pruned. Someone in the garden section knows what they're doing. Or they are using better vendors. Vastly disappointed with the other 4 from other stores but I will do my best to save them.
