Gretchen's Hallmark Shop

We no longer have a Hallmark store in Tallahassee, so I made a point of coming here while in Jacksonville. The store is jam-packed with fabulous gifts and, of course, the best cards. However, what really enhanced my visit was the customer service I received from Sydney. She was courteous, helpful and empathetic when I was trying to download and use the app. She helped me find various cards and seemed to genuinely enjoy assisting me. Based on this visit and Sydney's exemplary customer care, I will return to this location and I will recommend it to others.

We went squishi hunting and found a treasure trove of choices. The staff were friendly and the store neat and shoppable. We will definitely be going back!

My husband and I spend alot of money at Hallmark but this location put a sour taste in my mouth. The day after Christmas sale and the cashier was so sour and rude. It was an older lady with gray hair. I wish I had gotten her name. She did not look happy to assist and check out customers. When it was our turn I greeted her and she curtly said "PHONE NUMBER!" What a disgusting attitude to not just reply, "Hi, how are you? May I have your phone number?" Of course I can understand that everyone has a bad day but it was so uncalled for. I hope the owner looks into who was working that day in order to ensure the workers get reminded that with NO customers the stores close. If I wanted to be barked at, I would have gone to a dog shelter.

Great experience, Renee was so helpful and so sweet. She made it a great experience to go there and helped through my millions of questions I had 😅 location is very clean and they have the cutest things there. I will be back to this location because of the great customer service
