I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this Goodwill location. During our visit, an employee laughed at my autistic son. Regardless of whether they understood his disability, this behavior was unprofessional, insensitive, and completely unacceptable. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, especially individuals with disabilities. Instead of creating a welcoming environment, this employee's actions made my son and our family feel embarrassed and unwelcome. I hope management takes this matter seriously by addressing it with their staff and providing additional training on disability awareness, empathy, and customer service. No family should have to experience this while simply trying to shop. Employee Name is R. Monese 07/20/26 @ 1:25pm
The staff here are amazing. I accidentally donated a package I was supposed to be mailing. Maricel took my phone call and information and promised to look for it. I was so excited when she called me back several days later and said she found it! Thank you so much for going the extra mile!
I just witnessed a child have a meltdown in the store. This kid was obviously on the spectrum and not able to express himself like most of us. I watched his mom do the best she could only for an employee to rudely tell this momma bear of a special needs child how she needed to learn how to control her son. She did exactly what I would have done and came unglued. I left my cart with all my findings right where it sat and will never return. Shame on you. Goodwill you should do better!
Located in Middleburg. Decent prices on large items. Color-grouped clothes and housewares. Easy to donate at covered drive-thru. Parking is oh so tight though. Watch out for all the stray cats that some "brilliant" person feeds there.
if I wanted to pay $.99 for a paper back book, I would go to the library. There is NO reason to change the prices of paper back books to $.99 each and hard cover to $1.99 each. The only explanation I can see to do this is because they want to create an abundance of books all over, which seems to be working. The goodwill in argyle has much nicer books at 10 for $3, which used to be the norm for goodwill. On top of the books being insanely priced, all women’s shirts are $6.50. I understand our economy is changing, inflation is going up but they are selling shein and walmart brand clothes for $6.50. You can go to the websites of the actual brands and it will be cheaper than what GOODWILL is selling it for. Shoes are crazy too, men’s beat up vans for $30… AT GOODWILL. The next time I come id love to take more pictures of the insanity happening in this store.
