September 2026, hit a steel pole in the office parking garage in my new GMC 2500 AT4. Immediately checked body shop reviews near me and Gerber had great reviews and pictures of damage similar to mine. I stopped by before even calling State Farm. I was greeted by Gabby & Taylor who could tell I was shaken up. Taylor took control and assured me I was in good hands. She photographed the damage and said when you call State Farm tell them Taylor at Gerber has the photos. I asked who would be working on my truck? Taylor said Cole is the best for this type repair and Jordan is amazing at the paint work. I felt relieved. 5 days later the parts came in and I dropped off the truck. Cole identified damage that even me and Taylor missed. 7 days later I got my truck back better than new. Taylor & Gabby kept me informed through the entire process, even when additional parts needed to be ordered. I was nervous, being my first accident in 38 years of driving and was hopeful I would be ok with the repairs. But I was truly blown away with the repair, absolutely blew my mind how amazing it looks. I could not find anything that would indicate it was ever damaged. I have already referred my friend. Thank You Gerber for your amazing work and for your amazing staff. If I or anyone I know ever know needs work you can bet I am sending them your way.
I’m disappointed with my experience with this Gerber Collision & Glass location. I was going through the at-fault driver’s insurance for my repairs and initially went in simply to get information about the repair process. I was told that an insurance estimate would be different from an out-of-pocket estimate because of their insurance contracts. The estimator was not available that day, so I took the estimator’s card and waited for the insurance company to provide an estimate. Once I received the estimate, I decided I wanted my vehicle repaired rather than taking the payout. I proactively scheduled an appointment through Gerber’s online system, which allowed me to select a 2 PM appointment. I called the following day to confirm, but I was told the appointment was not showing on their end. I was then scheduled about two weeks out. A couple of days later, I was informed by the insurance company that this Gerber location “did not have the capacity to repair my vehicle.” At that point, I was left wondering why I was allowed to schedule an appointment in the first place and why I had to find out through the insurance company instead of Gerber communicating this directly. My biggest issue was the lack of clear communication. I completely understand that a location may not have the capacity to take on a repair, but I would have appreciated being told that upfront rather than going through the process of scheduling, calling to confirm, and then ultimately finding out that they couldn’t accommodate my vehicle. Overall, the experience left me feeling like I was being passed around rather than helped. I simply wanted straightforward communication from the beginning. It’s unfortunate because I specifically chose this location based on our previous positive experience about 9 years ago. It’s moments like this that make you realize how much times have changed and, honestly, how much basic human consideration and communication seem to have declined. I wasn’t expecting anything extraordinary just clear communication and a straightforward experience.
This is day one after getting the car back. So far everything looks good. There were part challenges. However, they were able to rectify those with whoever they were dealing with. They also went to bat for me with the insurance company and that gets a major plus.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gerber Collision & Glass after being involved in a not-at-fault accident, and I must say, my experience with them was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, they were prompt and efficient in providing an estimate to the insurance company responsible for funding the repairs. One person who truly stood out during my time at Gerber was Tim, the head of the team. He exuded professionalism and expertise, making me feel confident that my vehicle was in good hands. However, upon inspecting my vehicle upon its return, I noticed that one of my aftermarket backup lights had not been reinstalled. I immediately brought this to Tim's attention, and he took immediate action, swiftly retrieving my keys and ensuring that the light was promptly reinstalled. Moving on to the repairs themselves, I couldn't be happier with the results. Gerber's team expertly repaired the rear quarter panel of my truck bed, replacing all damaged parts and the bumper. They skillfully removed the dent and restored all body lines to their original state, culminating in a flawless paint job. The attention to detail and craftsmanship displayed by Tim and his team was truly impressive. Overall, the level of service I received at Gerber Collision & Glass exceeded my expectations. I am incredibly satisfied with the outcome of the repairs and the dedication shown by Tim and his team. Without a doubt, I will enthusiastically recommend Gerber to all my friends and acquaintances in need of collision and glass repair services. Thank You. -Damian
Worst collision experience ever I’ve never gone to an autobody shop where they wrap your door and it does not even match the exact paint. My car was only a year old and now it’s worthless cannot even do a trade-in with this door.
