A lovely little café serving Greek and Polish food. The “vegetarian borscht” was definitely… something. 😊 I’m not entirely sure they know what real borscht is supposed to be, but we’ll forgive them for that! The pierogi, however, were absolutely delicious. My husband had the meat-filled pierogi, and I chose the potato ones — both were excellent. Seriously, if you come here, try the pierogi. So, so good! My husband also tried the wine and really enjoyed it. And a special mention to the staff — the servers were genuinely friendly, warm, and welcoming. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the condition and overall appearance of the café itself. It could definitely use some love and refreshing. But the food, the wine, and the wonderful service more than made up for it. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and I would absolutely recommend this place!
What a fantastic restaurant! Nestled along the charming streets of the historic district, this cozy spot offers an authentic taste of Poland and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We started with the Pyzy, which were absolutely delicious—soft, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The Kielbasa sandwich was another standout, featuring a juicy, well-seasoned sausage served on fresh bread. We also tried Darius’ Favorite, which came with a fresh salad that complemented the hearty main dish perfectly. Every meal was well-prepared and packed with authentic Polish flavors. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, this is easily one of the best Polish restaurants we’ve visited in the United States. If you’re looking for authentic Polish cuisine, generous portions, and excellent service, this place is definitely worth a visit.
It was my first time having Polish food, so I was really excited! We obviously had to try a variety of pierogies. We ordered the potato and cheese, sauerkraut and mushroom, and the sweet blueberry versions. All of them were sautéed for extra flavor. I absolutely enjoyed the sauerkraut and mushroom, as well as the blueberry versions! The cream, the slight toast on the outside, and the fresh berries were all very delicious. I enjoyed the “Krupnik,” which is a traditional barley soup. It tasted very refreshing. We also ordered the “Golombki Home Special,” which features a giant cabbage leaf stuffed with ground meat and rice. This was a bit too sour for both of us, and it was kind of hard to eat. I was also not a fan of the borscht, but I liked the dumplings in it. The “Bigos Hunter’s Stew” was also not my cup of tea, but I’m glad I got to try a lot of new and traditional dishes. The service felt a bit slow at times, and I do wish our server had seemed a bit more attentive or interested, but it was still cool to check out.
Very cozy restaurant! Nice selection of European beers and wine. We ordered Czech beer, hummus, borscht, salad, and hunter's stew. All very fresh and delicious. Nice sized portions, too.
Hidden gem! You wouldn’t know it was there unless you looked up food nearby. We really enjoyed the polish food. The Pyzy was gluten free so that was great for me to get sort of like perogi taste but different. It feels like you’re in someone’s house for the level of cooking, food is fantastic. Would go back again for sure!
