Gator Ice Cream - Jax Beach

This little place is a gem. My wife and I walked in and the gentleman greeted and gave us the run down on ALL of the flavors and specials. Just about every flavor you could ask and its hand made. The service and the ice cream were perfect and next time we are in town again, we will be back. I got the butter pecan and topped it with coffee chunk and man was it good.

Best I’ve cream I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE. They have a line of ice cream for everyone: drinkers, vegans, diabetics…anything you want. They have alcohol infused ice cream—great for a vacation treat! 😂 I’m glad we don’t live closer because I’d get so fat 🤣

The kids were excited about all the fun flavors, and the adults were just as impressed with the quality and taste. If I lived any closer, this place would be dangerous for my waistline! 😂 We stopped by Gators Ice Cream in Jacksonville while visiting from Virginia, and I can honestly say it was some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had. The Dubai Chocolate ice cream and strawberry combo absolutely blew us away. It was rich, fresh, perfectly balanced, and unlike anything we’ve had before. Halfway through eating it, I was seriously questioning whether a 9-hour drive from Virginia would be worth it just for another one… and honestly, the answer might be yes! My husband had the Oreo sundae in the homemade waffle bowl, and it was just as incredible. You can truly taste the difference that homemade, fresh ice cream makes. Every ingredient tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the attention to detail really showed. What impressed us even more was the variety of unique, creative flavors you simply don’t find at a typical ice cream shop. It’s obvious that a lot of care and passion go into everything they make. If you’re anywhere near Jacksonville, do yourself a favor and stop at Gators Ice Cream. It has officially become a must-visit every time we’re in town.
