Yeah I took a picture while I was waiting to be one of the first four in line. I lucked out and was the third person in line. We were waiting for the employees to come in and this was the view of the sunrise as I was sitting looking at the buildings across the street. By the time the door the door opened. The four of us had created a unique bond. I was grateful for them and I could tell they were grateful for me too. The assessment took a while but I'm glad for the help offered. My journey is just beginning and this is one step in the right direction.

Don't come here. They help you until something happens in your life. The first barrier you have, they will drop you like that. No cares at all. They also have severe mold issues. More likely to cause relapse than help.

I am deeply concerned about the care my mother received at this facility following a documented injury. After a serious fall that resulted in a hospital visit and confirmed rib injuries, her physician explicitly ordered two days of bed rest. Upon her return, staff failed to follow these medical orders. She was told she would only be allowed 1-3 hours rest, and when she offered to provide hospital documentation, it was not reviewed. Despite being in clear pain, she was instructed to get up. She was also met with an aggressive response when she expressed that she was still sore and in pain. Multiple staff members witnessed this interaction and failed to intervene or advocate for her well-being. Disregarding physician orders and failing to appropriately respond to a patient’s condition raises serious concerns about negligence, patient safety, and staff accountability. This experience has significantly impacted our trust in this facility. Immediate improvements in care standards and oversight are necessary.

I am so grateful for Gateway, and the amazing staff there. From the staff at detox, to residential llrehab, down to the front desk & providers for out-patient, they are all an amazing part of my recovery. I started my journey almost 5 years ago at Gateway detox and if it wasn't for programs like what Gateway offers, I wouldn't be here today to speak about it. I will forever be grateful for what this facility has done for me, and taught me. I credit a lot of my sobriety to Gateway, for teaching me the skills I needed to lead and maintain a healthy, sober, productive lifestyle and how to love myself. One day at a time, sometimes one hour, one minute, one second. If you are struggling with addiction and do not know where to turn, by all means call Gateway. I couldn't provide a better alternative.. Gateway is where it's at. Detox will make sure you're comfortable during detox by using a MAT treatment plan that you and the doctor have discussed in depth and determined the right plan for you.
