Dr. Schwarzman saved my leg after a catastrophic knee dislocation from an indoor bouldering accident (1% of all knee injuries and 0.02% of all orthopedic injuries). Despite the severity of the injury, he squeezed me in before New Year’s to perform immediate surgery and saved my leg. He reconstructed my ACL, repaired my LCL, PCL, both meniscus, and capsule. Dr. Schwarzman was knowledgeable, patient, and explained the technique and science behind his procedures. Unfortunately, I tore my meniscus again during physical therapy and retored my PCL. I sought a second opinion at Southeast Orthopedics, where Dr. Swanson was amazed by my knee’s condition. He praised Dr. Schwarzman’s work, considering it was rushed and unplanned. Dr. Schwarzman, despite not having time to prepare, praised Dr. S for repairing my knee during the first surgery. He recommended Dr. S for my meniscus repair, though I opted not to do the PCL. Concerned about my knee’s lack of progress, Dr. S repaired the meniscus in two new spots and cleaned up scar tissue during my second surgery. This restored almost full range of motion. He allowed me to make informed decisions based on his suggestions and explanations. Though my patellar pain returned due to arthritis, I achieved pain-free exercise and activities with a PCL brace. After two years, my leg is 20-30% of my non-injured leg, exceeding expectations. Dr. Schwarzman saved my leg and provided the best care. I highly recommend him and would suggest him to others. He stays updated with the latest research and surgical methods in orthopedics. Without him, I wouldn’t have a functioning knee/leg. I am eternally grateful for his care. If you need an orthopedic surgeon, look no further. Dr. Schwarzman is the best. (Special thanks to Nicole, his assistant, for her communication and prompt responses.) ALSO DISCLAIMER: don’t believe any of the negative reviews people write here because it is more than likely the reviewer addicted to oxy and said physician won’t give it to them. Typical of the pain and orthopedic industry as an fyi. Dr. S is very careful with pain meds and since that was a huge concern of mine and he allowed for me to choose an alternative post surgery- Celebrex instead of an opioid. This is just more proof he cares about your wellbeing as his patient.

Dr. Schwarzman is an excellent orthopedic doctor. I am so thankful that he was the surgeon who operated on my son. We couldn’t have had a more qualified surgeon. I credit my son’s amazing recovery to Dr. Schwarzman’s skill and expertise. Highly recommend!

Tore my right tricep at the beginning of june 2023 and contacted flagler orthopedics of nocatee to be seen; Dr. Garrett Schwarzman was my attending physician and immediately ordered both an xray and mri to see what I had injured in my arm. The mri did show a torn tricep and Dr. Schwarzman scheduled the pre op appt within 24hrs. After he operated on my tricep he was absolutely wonferful, from both in person visits as well as phone calls and text to ensure my recovery was going as smooth as possible. Dr. Garrett Schwarzman is an outstanding surgeon, explains everything in great detail, and answers all of your question; he truly does go above and beyond. I have recommended him to all my family and friends, and will visit him again if I ever need another surgery. Would give more than 5 stars if I was allowed.

Dr. Schwarzman helped me tremendously and I am very grateful. I had a failed hip resurfacing that resulted in me having pain every time I surfed. At 43 I wanted to surf twenty more years and that wasn’t possible until Garrett performed an arthroscopic procedure that resulted in no hip impingement. 12 weeks after the procedure I went on a surf trip to Nicaragua and had no pain in very large surf. I surf regularly now without pain. Other surgeons were telling me to accept my fate and that I needed to focus on low impact exercises. I am so glad I didn’t accept that fate, and sought out Dr Schwarzman.
