  I can tell you without objection that the worst agent in town is Donovan Insurance. Gallagher is following a close second. I didn't receive my commercial property insurance renewal this year. I knew It was due end of March and had not received it beginning of the month. I called and emailed my agent with no reply (just Google Donovan reviews!) without much surprise. I called my insurance company direct and they recommended Harden...which was bought by Gallagher...an out of state firm. I contacted them, explained my situation and was contacted by some agent in Illinois. Said he represented Gallagher here in Jax. Explained the situation again, was told no problem, they would handle getting a quote before the policy expired, just send over my current policy, which I did. Then I waited, and waited, and when two weeks came and went, I knew I was screwed. I scrambled to find another LOCAL agent that carries my current ins company and they were able to put together the insurance in very short order. Gallagher might be worse than Donovan. At least Donovan just ignores you, Gallagher tells you they will do something and then does not. They almost screwed me into having a coverage gap. And as of today, still have not gotten a call back or email from them on the insurance.
