Today was our first visit to dr Gabriella. I took the appointment online yesterday. The doctor was patient, listened to all our concerns and answered all questions Recommended :)
If you read all the one stars you will know that it is a lottery win to get service when you call. And part of that is the phone system. You expect to get a hold of one of the office assistants you know. But you get some other farmed out phone service. Billing seams to be a service in India. Son had an annual checkup in which Dr assessed he had inflamed tonsils. She wrote a referral. The “coding dept” billed it under a sick visit rather than the annual checkup. Tricare (insurance company) said there is no reason to bill the referral under a separate line. The separate line is just a way to bill the insurance company for the annual preventive checkup and another service that requires a copay. Billing claims that they cannot write a referral under the annual checkup. Tricare said that is false. Billing said the Dr performed an extra exam outside of an annual checkup, again, false. Stick out your tongue and say ah while the Dr looks at your tonsils and back of your thought is definitely preformed during the annual visit. Another referral was written during the visit that was coded to the annual checkup. So the billing dept will try to be doctors, and then blame it on the coding dept. unacceptable
Dr. Assi has been treating my sons since my oldest was 3yrs, now I can't make any appointments, went there yesterday at 9 am and the office was closed. I think I've been very understanding about a lot of issues. I've been hung up on and told that one of my sons didn't go to the doctor when he did. I'm not playing about the bs. When Dr. Assi and her staff see this review they will know who I am. 24 yrs my family has been with them. Please get it together, or I'll find a new doctor to treat my asthmatic children.
Love Dr. Gabriella Assi and her team! Great bedside manner and patience with our special needs kids. The office usually responds to document requests by close of business same day and will fit you in for urgent care appointments too.
My daughters have been coming here since they were born. My oldest started with Mr. Assi. Rare to see such loving care in the practice handed down in the family. Dr. Gabriella Assi has a touch all her own but a beautiful heart, like her father. My daughters love coming to the doctor’s office. I wish I could say the same for their dentist.
