A daily nonnegotiable for me is a 5-mile walk around the city, and I’ve done the SUP countless times at this point. It’s a pretty easy incline, plenty of space, incredible sunsets (few pictures I’ve caught in the past). I do wish there was an awning towards the middle to break at or a water fountain because the heat can be brutal in the summer with impromptu showers - and maybe a divider of some sorts between 95 and the path, as I don’t think running / walking and breathing in the car toxins off the highway is amazing, but that’s wishful thinking lol. Still a go-to walk to and from San Marco / Riverside / Skate Park / Riverside Arts Market 😁😅
What a great adventure with an incredible view! We walked the North bank pedestrian walk from downtown Jacksonville over the Fuller Warren shared path then over the Main Street bridge. The entire walk at a leisurely pace took 2 hours. The views of the river and downtown kept me snapping photos!
Nice walk from San Marcos to Riverside side. You can loop to North Bank RiverWalk to Acosta. Restrooms are under highway where Riverside Arts Market is held.
I love you can now cross the Fuller Warren Bridge from Riverside to San Marco. Super fun with great views of the Jacksonville and the St. Johns River. Worth the visit and it's free.
Morning, noon, or night, this path is gorgeous! Well lit. Ample room for people walking and bicycle rides. There are designated vantage points, where you can stop and take in the view. It's beautiful.
