Foe selected vehicles u can drive and park on the beach! Short walk from parking lot to bridge and too beach, will take you less then 5-10 mins to be in the water. June- water is perfectly warm!
Amazing beach. Unlike many other beach vehicle access places around here which are only useful for 4x4 vehicles that want to drive down onto the beach, Frank Butler County Park East is for folks with regular cars that are looking to park and walk down to access the beach. It has free public parking, free restrooms and showers, and the parking lot has 4 picnic tables (2 each under 2 covered patio areas next to parking lot). A boardwalk provides access to the beach, which is incredible. The white sand is powdery and soft, the beach has great waves and a gentle slope so perfect for dogs and kids, and I love the dunes esp. around sunset when the grasses etc. are lit up by the setting sun. 12/10 have been coming here for years and never gotten tired.
Nice beach! Nice ramp walk down to stairs at the beach. Lifeguard was to the left of me, he was sporting a yellow flag. Be cautious. Seen dolphins today 🐬😊...up by the parking there were two pavilions and bathrooms. Also a spot to rinse off...the beach got more crowded the later the day got but not more than usual...Will go again! I like this park!
THANK YOU for allowing dogs on this beach!!!! We discovered this wonderful beach 2 years ago while visiting St. Augustine & came back again this year. LOVE IT!! This time we drove our truck on the beach as it is so convenient for easy access to your stuff. We appreciate the fact that there are restrooms as that seems to be rare at other beach areas. How nice to enjoy a day at the beach with your pups!!! Just wish Florida state parks would allow dogs on beaches!!!
Beautiful and with bathrooms. Get your empanadas or pastelitos one block north in Paladar and enjoy treats at the beach ⛱️
