I was looking for a builder that could help me with the construction of a new semi-attached 3 car garage, a mud room an large & finished attic area as well as over 800 square foot of covered porches. The main house is a cape cod style cypress log home with an existing front porch & enclosed porch on the north. I didn't want it to look like an addition & had to look like an integral part of the construction & similar materials. I engaged Sean as a consultant on the project. His input was invaluable to completing the project on time & budget. Kim was great in keeping up with the weekly invoicing & providing all the documents during & after construction was complete. Sean was very knowledgeable & thought out of the box to solve issues & make things look right. Forrest Construction has subcontractors that work hard, pay attention to detail & get the job done. Very impressive watching them work as a team. I really can't say enough about Forrest Builders, and thank them enough for making my vision & dream a reality. Besides knowing a lot about building, Sean really does take care of his customers & develops a friendship. It was a pleasure during the whole process. Thank you!

Working with Sean and his entire team was truly a very positive experience. We brought an unusual design to them that included an unusual set of wants/needs during a difficult market time (early in Covid era) and they executed the construction in a professional and conscientious way. No one-off project goes 100% to plan, but any changes to methods/materials were agreed upon prior and they worked with us in many ways that I can't imagine another builder doing. More than that, I trust Forrest builders to have the long term goal of the project success and the relationship firmly in mind.
Chris and Sean Forrest built a vacation rental property for me and I can't express how pleased I am with the quality of construction and the integrity of Forrest Builders! Having been a former contractor myself for >40 years I appreciate working with a contractor that not only does what he promises to do but also does so in a manner where both parties are pleased with the overall process and end product. I would highly recommend Forrest Builders for any construction project that I may have in the future, it is reassuring to know there are still people out there where a handshake still means something and it is a testament to their commitment to the client and the project!
My wife and I were very fortunate to have used Sean and his company to renovate our beachfront townhouse. We wanted to move the dining room from near the front door (west side) to the east side. This necessitated moving the kitchen 9-12 feet west. Additionally, we wanted to remove downstairs walls in the dining room and living room to open up the view. Doing so required two beams be inserted in the ceiling to support the upstairs floor. Everything was done perfectly and we couldn't be happier with the result. All subs used were superb and his crew was top notch and very helpful. Sean was truly interested in making sure we got exactly what we wanted; which we did. We couldn't recommend him more highly!
Chris and his team did a wonderful job creating a second floor on our home and then adding an addition. They were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any issues that arose. Great workmanship in all areas!
