Forever Vets Animal Hospital at Nocatee

Took my dog in to have a growth taken off, upon leaving was given an antibiotic and instructed to start it the next day with food. On the label it specifically said if the dog experiences any stomach discomfort to call immediately. Midway through the day my dog vomitted everything in her stomach and then had dry heaves. She also developed a black liquid stool, so we called the vet. We were told to give her ANOTHER pill and if she was still experiencing issues to call back. What kind of vet recommends to take another pill after already understanding the issues the medication is causing? Ended up taking her to an emergency vet the next morning and they had to keep her overnight to get her hydrated and get her to eat something (this was another side effect to the medication, not eating). This was all done to a tune of $1800.00 for the emergency treatment. Update- Chloe the manager of this facility reached out to discuss my above issues and we have decided to continue our relationship with the Nocatee location. She was very professional and explained their side of the issue as well as understanding my disappointment. This is the first and only issue we’ve had so it’s only fair they should get another opportunity. The fact they followed up and asked what they could do to make it right spoke volumes of their commitment to our satisfaction.

Molly has been going to Forever vets in Nocatee Florida for eight years! They have taken such good care of my dog! All of the doctors are Very good and listen to all of my concerns and give me great care for my dog! The staff are very friendly and efficient when trying to help me with any concerns that I have! I would highly recommend Forever vets!

I have been loving my experience at Forever Vets Nocatee with my new puppy! I have been bringing Juno for all her well puppy care since bringing her home in February. The doctors and techs are so sweet with her. Dr. Dupree has patiently answered all my questions each visit. We have seen Natasha as our tech multiple times and she remembers Juno and does a great job making her feel comfortable.

I had a great experience bringing my 4 year old bearded dragon here for the first time for her annual health exam and fecal test for parasites. I previously was bringing my beardie to the St Johns Vet near Target in St Augustine for the first 3 years of her life, but their reptile and exotic veterinarian moved away. I chose to come to Forever Vets Nocatee based on a recommendation from a friend who brought his tortoise here. The facility is very clean and the staff were very friendly. Dr. Shannon Quinn was the reptile and exotic veterinarian who saw us and she was awesome! The only part of our visit I didn't like was that the vet tech took my beardie out of the room to be examined, but I believe that was due to another animal having an emergency so Dr. Quinn wasn't able to come in at our scheduled time. Either way, Dr. Quinn did come back to the room I was in after the exam and she was able to answer my questions and take more information from me about my beardie. I was also pleasantly surprised how fast the results came back for the fecal test, it was the same day! It took at least a few days to hear back about results at our last vet. I recommend Dr. Quinn and Forever Vets for anyone else with a reptile or exotic pet. It's really nice knowing we have a good quality facility in the area that can handle reptiles and exotics.
