We had to bring our furbaby Millie here as an emergency. The care Millie received from walking in to walking out was wonderful!! Staff kept us all in the waiting area updated as there were 2 worse cases than Millie that came in after and yet they still worked to get us in a room as soon as possible. One thing my husband and I noticed also was the CLEANLINESS of the waiting area and room, it smelled sooooo good in the whole place, I almost asked what they use for air freshener. You would never know they serviced animals there if you didn't know. My husband and I wish they did regular vet care, we would we be changing to them immediately. The vet and techs actually got on the floor with our 54lb baby so she would feel more comfy and gain her trust. Her reg vet has never done that! We just can't say enough about this emergency vet, everyone was wonderful!! Sure hope we never have to go back under emergent circumstances but if so this is where we will go and I've already told family and friends how wonderful everyone was. Highly recommend!!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Focused Pet Care and the incredible team there. My 2 year old, 13 pound miniature Goldendoodle swallowed a whole chicken bone drumlette. A local veterinarian in Palm Coast told me that emergency surgery was my only option quoting me almost $6,000.00, which was heartbreaking and incredibly stressful. Wanting to explore every possible option, I called Focused Pet Care. From the moment Ms. Gail answered the phone, I knew I was in good hands. She was compassionate, patient, reassuring, and took the time to answer my questions while showing genuine concern for both me and my dog. Her kindness immediately put me at ease during a very frightening situation. Dr. Matt Mizesko was absolutely outstanding. He was attentive, honest, thorough, and took the time to explain everything without making me feel pressured. He gave me his honest professional opinions from start to finish. He carefully evaluated my dog’s situation and determined that an endoscopic procedure was a safe and appropriate option. Letting me know step by step which procedure was best from what we discussed. Thanks to his expertise, the chicken bone was successfully retrieved without my dog having to undergo invasive surgery. The entire staff was professional, caring, and incredibly efficient from start to finish. Their pricing was fair and reasonable, they were able to see us quickly, and the level of communication and compassion they showed throughout the entire process was exceptional. It was clear that everyone truly cared about my dog’s well being. My dog came home the same day, avoided a major surgery, and recovered comfortably because of the outstanding care he received. I am beyond grateful to Ms. Gail, Dr. Matt Mizesko, and the entire team at Focused Pet Care. They turned one of the most stressful days of my life into a positive outcome, and I will never forget their kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend Focused Pet Care to anyone in need of an emergency veterinary team that genuinely cares about their patients and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care.
Extremely patient. The worst time of my life, my baby of almost 10 years. Every single individual was professional and chose their verbiage carefully which put me at ease. As soon as they saw the state my Bruno was in, they immediately rushed to get him in. Assisting me from my vehicle and into an exam room. I am so thankful I chose Focused Pet Care, their reviews don’t lie. I googled everyone in the area and made calls as this was a last minute financial strain I knew I was going to have to encounter. From the moment someone answered the phone I just felt confident in rushing Bruno straight in. No questions asked. I had to bring my dog Judy to Focused pet care an emergency visit last night, and I cannot praise the team enough for how they handled a very stressful situation. From the moment we walked through the door, the staff was incredibly professional, calm, and empathetic. They immediately assessed Judy which brought me immense peace of mind right away. The veterinary team kept me updated every step of the way, explaining their findings and treatment options clearly without making me feel rushed or overwhelmed. It is clear that the doctors and techs here genuinely care about their patients and understand how frightening emergency situations are for pet parents. The facility was clean, organized, and well-equipped. While no one ever wants to find themselves at an emergency vet in the middle of the night, I am incredibly grateful to the entire team for the top-notch care they provided to Judy.Thank you for looking after my baby so well!
Had to bring our baby girl in for an emergency when we noticed a large lump on her chest. The entire team was amazing! Everyone was super nice, kind and non-judgmental. They took great care of our Storm and she was comfortable enough to go with each staff member. Dr. V was so nice and explained everything to us very thoroughly. We even asked if they were a regular vet because of the amazing job they did making us feel comfortable and getting us answers.
