Florida Eye Specialists - Southpoint

I love going to Florida Eye Specialists - Southpoint. The staff are friendly and efficient in their care. Dr. Guyassadin is a wonderful eye doctor. I think he is so great. He’s very knowledgeable in eye care. I have glaucoma and he has done great with helping to keep my eye pressures down and stable, thank God. Kudos to Florida Eye Specialists- Southpoint.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I had an appointment on 6/16/25 with Dr. Omar Gayasaddin and the staff at Florida Eye Specialist 7051 Southpoint Parkway Location. They consistently deliver exceptional care during my eye exams. Although the series of tests I underwent were overwhelming, the attentive care provided made the experience manageable. The entire staff is courteous and responsive to my needs. I am satisfied with my choice of healthcare provider.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr.Miles, Dr. Guier and their team of experts. From my first appointment through surgery and follow-up care, I was treated with professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern for my well-being. Their expertise and attention to detail resulted in outstanding outcomes, and l am thrilled with my vision. I am truly thankful to everyone for making this possible.

Hopeful but disappointing experiences. 1) Hidden in their consent form is giving them the right to share patient medical information to other parties for supposed research. Probably to make a buck for themselves, and for all anyone knows it could be selling medical records to China or org linked to the likes of Gates or Fauci. 2) Desk staff behaves indifferent to patients in general. They don't seem to care what your issue is related to anything. 3) apparently the gal who did my vision test, who was also indifferent, did not input one of my eye's accurate vision calculations as later reviewed and confirmed at another office location. 4) charges for 2 appointments where nothing was accomplished for me other than have my eyes looked at had fees charged of nearly $700. The staff doesn't listen to the patient. You're just a number in their system. They tell you they'll charge you one full fee at the office, then send additional fee demands later beyond what they stated it would cost. Clear communication is lacking both in general paperwork and medically related. Cannot recommend this group.
