Florida Eye Specialists - Nocatee

Terrible - receptionist was from a foreign nation and had trouble understanding any inquiry unable to answer a basic inquiry on progressive frames / lens availability. How much money does owner need to hire clearly people not in this field or even with English as a first language ? They got a 1 star only because they have a nice building , but unfortunately its all glitz without any substance of quality. Do your self a favor and seek quality service elsewhere

As a current patient with a blocked tear duct, I called to schedule an appointment with an ophthalmologist, only to be told the earliest available appointment was two months away. The only sooner option was an office over an hour away, which isn't practical for me. Instead, I was scheduled with an optometrist who cannot perform the procedure needed to treat my condition. That appointment would only delay getting the care I actually need and feels like a waste of time. It's very frustrating that established patients can't access the appropriate specialist in a reasonable timeframe. I don’t recommend this practice. I find it ridiculous that you can’t get a regular patient in.

Dr. Barnhorst and his entire team at the Nocatee location are outstanding. From start to finish, they delivered excellent results with impeccable professionalism. I highly recommend them.

From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, I felt completely taken care of. Your professional staff and modern facility was not only impressive, but I was able to get in and out in under 40 minutes, which could’ve been a much more lengthy your visit given it was an afternoon appointment. Kudos to you and your staff and Dr. Pei-Wen Lawing was wonderful, thorough, and answered all of my questions; even the ones I didn’t know I had. Absolutely amazing!
