My golf game was in a bad funk. I'm not a great golfer to begin with (15 handicap) but I was playing awful. I shot a 105 for the first time since, well since I can't remember. Last week we dined at our favorite pizza place (Vinos in Fruit Cove - excellent pizza BTW) and happened upon Fitted Fairways in the same plaza. We checked it out and it looked like a fun place with 4 simulator areas. I figured if I was going to embarrass myself playing golf, I might as well do it in air-conditioned comfort where I wouldn't be seen 😊. It took all of two sessions to fix my swing and next time out I shot an 84. Individual results will probably vary but these simulators provide all the information you need to analyze and correct your swing. Also, Bob is the PGA Pro there if you need lessons.
So I took a lesson with Bob last week. He was amazing. He was able to not only explain, but also show me with the video analyzer, what I was doing wrong. After fixing 2 components of my swing I was striking the ball with more consistency. Four days later I played and took 4 strokes off my personal best. Four days after that I improved by another 5 strokes and broke 90 for the 1st time. Bob is the man! He gave great instruction, but also physical cues to help me. I can't wait for my next lesson.
I had an excellent experience at Fitted Fairways. Simulator bays are pristine, with lots of options from playing courses to just range sessions. Marlon was particularly great in helping me get set up in the bay and even offered some helpful tips to help with my ball contact. Absolutely recommended and will be back again!
5 star service all around Probably the most insightful flitting and lesson I’ve had Place is a hidden gem for northeast Florida golfers - Gavin
Called to get a new grip installed on my putter. Bob helped me out same day. Was in and out in 5 minutes. Excellent craftsmanship and customer service.
