Farm Share

I was told it would be fresh produce. But, it was not. It was basically food bank food. It was a very long line and I just know everyone was disappointed as well. We got a 10 lb bag of chicken legs, Kellogg Frosted Flakes, six cans of ice coffee, and a few can goods. I didn’t need mines so, I did a good deed and gave it away.

I volunteer for Farm Share. It is a great program that feeds a lot of families. This is one place that when you donate you can rest assured that your dollars have went directly to feeding families in need. I want to stress that it is important to be early. The food only feeds so many. They do as much as they can and unfortunately, they do run out. Not their fault, it's a problem we face in these days and they are trying to stop hunger every way they can. Please be kind to Farmshare employees and volunteers. They are not God, they can't make anyone wake up in time to get there. They are a dedicated group with commitment that is rare nowadays. Please consider all things when passing judgement against them. This is a positive thing for everyone.

Very nice staff. Stayed over so I could get there to donate some food.
