Recognizing the need for deeper theological preparation and cultural navigation in ministry leadership, I enrolled at Faith Christian University in June 2000 — a decision that significantly strengthened both my academic foundation and ministerial effectiveness. At FCU, I found more than a classroom experience. The instruction was biblically grounded, spiritually formative, and practically applicable. The flexible structure allowed me to advance my education while actively serving in leadership. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Theology, my Master’s degree in Christian Counseling, and ultimately earned my Doctorate. Faith Christian University combines academic excellence, accessibility, and spiritual integrity in a way that equips leaders for meaningful impact. The teaching was biblically grounded, Spirit-centered, and deeply practical. I was strengthened personally and equipped to minister from a place of overflow to the congregation I was privileged to serve. I remain deeply grateful for the foundation it provided and am honored to be a proud alumna. Proud Alumna, Dr. Yvette Leachman, Th.D, M.M.C.
The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and clearly passionate about teaching from a Christian worldview. You never feel like just a number—there is a true sense of community, encouragement, and purpose throughout the program. If you are looking for a university that values faith, integrity, and quality education while helping you grow spiritually and professionally, I highly recommend Faith Christian University. It has been a blessing to be a part of.
Highly recommend Faith Christian University. The teaching and classes are amazing, very equipping for Pastoral ministry, Christian counseling and leadership. The Staff respond very promptly anytime I’ve needed assistance. The online platform is very user friendly. I recommend FCU!!
Amazing instruction with a stimulating curriculum. FCU is providing me with the tools and opportunities to not only increase my knowledge, but also the practical skills for how to speak about and study the Bible’s rich teachings. I have learned so much just in the first term, and I am excited to continue witnessing the strength and growth of my faith!
FCU is a great way to dive deeper into the Word of God. It’s a great program to get your degree in theology etc. Solid teaching in the Word :) I highly recommend Faith Christian University. The communication and follow through is very reliable as well.
