At the beginning of the year the dance studio makes you sign a waiver saying they can dismiss you with no refund for ANY reason. They have you pay for the dance recital and dance costumes before November (dance classes start in August). Once you pay there is NO refund for any reason. At the last minute (about 3 weeks before the recital) we were told we would have an additional charge. The studio owner decided to make all the parents buy a recital shirt for 30 each or your child could not participate. She then tried to say it was for security purposes . When a wristband could have been used or even a lanyard for a lot cheaper. I had 3 children dancing there and at the time could not afford the extra 90 dollars. When I mentioned this I was told (by the owner) that she had to discuss it with her dance instructor and she would get back to me. When I went on to my personal Facebook and asked the other parents their opinions. Someone showed her the post and she got mad and dismissed my children from her studio and refused to refund me for the recital. All because she didn't like, that I questioned the fairness of charging 30 dollars for a shirt my child would wear for 5 minute.
The ladies at the studio take pride in their jobs and love to interact and teach youth. Dance recitals have been a blast to witness over the past few years.
I’ve been dancing here for as long as I can remember it’s truly amazing I love all the instructors!!!! I recommend this magical place highly!!!!
My daughter began dancing at Fabulous Footwork when she was only 3. She continued dancing there until she graduated from high school and then She became a teacher/choreographer. Fabulous Footwork was not only a place she went to dance it was her second home - this is where here friends were and Mrs Phoebe was her 2nd mother. She received great dance training from Mrs Phoebe and the other teachers there. Mrs Phoebe also brought in other choreographers to work with the girls if they wanted to. Emma worked with many great choreographers in her time there and they have become mentors to her. If you’re looking for a dance studio for your child I highly recommend Fabulous Footwork.
I have been dancing here since I was 3 years old I love all the instructors there and they are amazing with all the girls at the studio including me I definitely recommend going here
