Extremely disappointed that they’ve been recently bought out. What used to be a small town small family owned business is now lost. I’ve been using Eye Envy in Yulee for the better part of a decade for myself and my 2 children. We had no warning that these changes were happening and unfortunately I will not be going back. Plus our favorite employee is also leaving & the rest don’t seem very happy either. Disappointing. Their new corporate owners definitely do not provide the same care and compassion as previous owners had. These employees helped my daughter prior to our move to Japan and went above and beyond for us to be prepared vision wise before our move. Upon our return, my son started going there and Ms. Danielle especially, went to great lengths “Frankenstein-ing” a pair of glasses that actually fit him. When my own glasses kept bending due to how thick the lenses were, Ms. Danielle again, went to the ends of the earth and back in order to find a pair that I would be comfortable in. I’m sorry to see Ms. Danielle go, but after hearing she’s leaving, we will be too.
The lady reached out yesterday about my glasses and said she would try and find me some like the ones I had so they dont slip off my face every 10 seconds. Hopefully I hear back from her today! Will update and increase the score upon a satisfactory resolution. I just want 1 pair I can wear without them slipping off. Update, the lady called and found me a replacement frame for me. Top notch ! Much appreciated and would definitely recommend again.
Came in today to obtain a pair of progressive glasses. Jessica, Tabitha, and Danielle including the rest of the staff did an amazing job showing patients how it’s me while deciding styles and proper fit. Very knowledgeable staff and pure professionalism through the process. Will be back in the future.
Went there after not having an eye exam or new glasses for four years and they were able to get my prescription from my existing glasses even though they were pretty scratched up. Everyone was super awesome and everything was taken care of in a really professional and fun way!
