Yollie was wonderful and was so accommodating for my Dad who doesn’t get around very well. We had a great time with her! I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to see downtown Jax and learn some amazing history of the city.

Yollie is absolutely incredible! Her passion for educating on the black history of Jacksonville is truly inspiring. The tour is very educational and it was so fascinating and eye opening to learn the history about multiple locations we pass or encounter in our daily commutes. Yollie does an amazing job! 100% would recommend booking one of her tours.
Yollie is the best. My family and I just took the black heritage tour and it was amazing. I have been in jax all of my life and I didn't know how much history we had in this city. It is so important to have historians tell us about things that we aren't taught in schools. I highly recommend this tour for everyone.
I’ve lived in Jacksonville for more than 20 years and still learned so much on this tour. We explored neighborhoods that are no longer found on maps. Yollie was very knowledgeable in sharing history of the area. I highly recommend it.
I truly enjoyed this tour. So much history (good and bad) of African Americans in Jacksonville that I had no idea about. Yolanda is very passionate and knowledgeable about all the history of the city and you can tell she’s put in a lot of time, effort and love into this guided tour. When I visit Jacksonville again I will definitely bring others with me and do the tour again. PS I love the tour bus!!
