They delivered the awesome car we rented, but never refunded the security deposit (so they basically double charged me). Their contract says they can hold the deposit for up to 30 days (which is already crazy), and I have been trying to get this resolved for weeks now. It's very difficult to get them on the phone about it and I have yet to have any person from their business contact me after multiple attempts to get through to them via the email and their listed phone number. Would have been a good review if it was possible to get my security deposit refunded. (Update: I was never able to resolve this and never got my deposit back. They are crooks)
I rented from this place for a very special occasion & without informing me they did not show up with the car. I called and was notified that the driver had been into an “accident” with the car (without providing proof) and the gentleman I spoke with said he would provide us with a full refund and replace the car with something else. Unfortunately, things got complicated and they took back what they said (it was on a recorded line) and we requested a full refund. This was on December 2nd. I contacted the company many times to get the refund back and only to discover that they were charging my husband’s card for other fraudulent things. The owner got involved and clearly stated he would resolve the issue and send us a check and it’s now January 12th - still no refund and no check. With all of that being said, I DO NOT recommend renting a car from this place. They not only ruined my brother’s wedding, but they strung us along with telling us they would provide us a refund and advised us to not do a chargeback, which we had to end up doing. Overall, this is a terrible company doing sketchy things that needs to be investigated and shut down.
Wish I could give zero stars. Awful. Horrible. Scam. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Not only do they not communicate or keep in touch with you, THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP FOR MY WEDDING. I called twenty plus times, left messages and emailed them. This was on a Friday afternoon. They still have my money. RUN!
Absolutely terrible! Please DO NOT rely on this company to actually deliver the car rental. However they do take payment for the service they DID NOT provide and then decide to add more charges that are not yours. Was given the runaround and did not show with the car for my son’s wedding. I do not recommend this place to anyone!!
CROOKS! Awful service! Not only did they bring the wrong car, they were 2 hours late, and the car they did bring was filthy, and drop too didn’t work. To top that off It’s been 3 months and still haven’t got my $900 partial refund from switching up the car last minute, and still have not got my $2000 security deposit back! They charged my card in seconds and it’s been MONTHS and still have not got my money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
