This restaurant, Everybody's Restaurant, is a hidden gem. Honestly, we chose it due to its very unique name and good reviews. It didn't disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the Liver & Onions with Beets and the Fried Shrimp with Cottage Cheese and Peaches. We also had Rice with Gravy. Their cornbread is the absolute bomb. I would have given this place 5 stars, except for the cleanliness. Most specifically, the floors. I don't expect perfection, but the floors were really 'nasty.'
I traveled from Middleburg and found this restaurant yesterday when I came into town for my son’s football game. It’s located right by the school and the parking lot was full. We walked into the front door and could smell the food cooking and everyone was smiling. Our food was delicious and fresh and oversized portions. It was priced right too. I will definitely be back.
Oh my word, this place is amazing! It has lots of rustic, Old Town charm with excellent country cooking, large portions, and great flavor. The sweet iced tea is fantastic—it's hard to find tea like this these days. Service is quick, and the servers are sweet and on the ball. Prices are very reasonable. America needs more places like this!
Absolutely fantastic place! The staff is very friendly and takes fantastic care of my family when we're in for a meal. The environment gives you that warm and cozy southern diner feeling to go along with whatever delicious item you've chosen from the menu. I strongly recommend this stop for anyone wanting a good meal with the family. But even if you're just passing by, stop at this Baldwin hidden gem!
Extremely Disappointed – Don't let the 4.6 Rating Fool You The Atmosphere & Service The Space: Super small, cramped, and reminded me exactly of a truck stop diner. The Service: The waitress came over with no smile and didn't even bother with a polite "hey, how are you." The Fried Ribs Special The Ribs: The plate came out with two dried-up looking ribs. My boyfriend tried to bite into one and the fight was on just to get his teeth into it. The Bread: It came with a small square of cornbread and a biscuit that looked like it had been sitting in the fridge for a week before they decided to just throw it on the plate to get rid of it. The Sides & Sauce: The cabbage and fried okra were basic at best. It also came with some kind of white sauce in a little plastic container that we think was tartar sauce—not sure why that's paired with ribs. The Cheeseburger Platter The Setup: I’m not sure why you call a standard cheeseburger and fries a "platter." The Bun: The bun was cold, assuming right out of the bag, if i'm lucky. The Meat & Fries: The burger was dry, hard, and crumbly—they spent all their time cooking it way beyond the point of no return. Meanwhile, the fries were white and half-cooked. The Verdict I wouldn't even write a review except for all the raving 4.6 reviews talking about how wonderful this place is. I'm not sure where those people are eating to believe this is good food, because it definitely isn't even close. This place deserves a -4.6 rating along with a warning that you don't want to stop here. We are really not hard to please and will usually eat anything and be thankful, but I want to be honest about what you can actually expect. I understand living out in the middle of nowhere and needing a local meeting place, but dang sure you ain't coming here for the food!
