My anguish started 4 Months ago after my car had been sitting in my garage from going into limp mode. My neighbor suggested to reach out to Euro Specs to have my car fixed. So I reached out, and made sure after describing what was going on with my car to Steve, specifically asking the him on the phone could they fix my car. He specifically stated we can fix anything. I asked multiple time getting the same response. So because my car was going into limp mode I had it towed to their shop. Let me say this, I had already described the noise it was making, told him on the phone all work that had been done on my car and parts that had been replaced. I was told what an initial diagnostic cost but not that they would only diagnose it for a certain amount of time, and need to charge me for a second diagnostic. There was all of these charges being sent to me for work, and parts that was not fixing my cars issue which was an air flow issue. For months I had to call to try and get updates, nobody was telling me what was going on with my car. Then I was told when I asked what was taking so long that “ they get all of the cars with problem issues that’s why it’s taking so long”, 😒but I thought that is why they’re A EUROPEAN SPECIALIST MECHANIC SHOP. Eventually I let them know that my patience was wearing out, I was reassured that they were working on it. Now it’s going into the fifth month my car has been at this shop after I was told they had eventually found the issue. They had me to sign for the work which had reached to over $4000.00 dollars I was livid. Well how about that was not my cars issue either. I’m leaving out a lot because this story is just really long and I’m exhausted just thinking about it. My car was cranking up when I had it towed it to this place, I drove it up on the tow truck myself. Now it’s cranking up. The tow truck driver , and myself had to push it up in the drive way after letting it down off the truck. I’m so afraid to find out what else is not working on my car that was since leaving it at this place for months and having them tinker with it trying to figure out what’s wrong with it. I called after seeing that my car wasn’t cranking up. Steve said we were looking at the wiring 😒 with sarcasm in his voice. I just hung up! I wish I would’ve looked at the reviews before wasting months with this shop. It wasn’t until talking to friends and other people when, where was my car mentioned. I found out I had made a huge mistake taking my car to Europe Specs, as well as my experience. I was getting the same stories nothing was getting fixed and their cars were there for months accumulating exorbitant amounts of money in fees. Which is ridiculous, especially when you’re not getting results. I don’t put this review up to make the shop look bad just to tell of my experience.
I recently required my vehicle for an appointment at another establishment, and despite past negative experiences, I decided to give the shop another chance, thinking perhaps they had improved. I took my car in for a diagnostic check, as it was indicating a lean bank one issue. They assured me they would help identify the problem and recommended a few potential solutions, including OEM wiring, which they claimed would be beneficial. However, they continued to suggest additional repairs, and I eventually declined, as the estimated cost had already exceeded $1,000 for a simple diagnostic check. They strongly advised replacing the recommended parts, assuring me it would resolve the issue, but unfortunately, it did not. As a result, I have spent over $1,000 on ineffective repairs, and I strongly advise against patronizing this shop in the future. What I found particularly concerning was that I spent over $500 for them to cut my wiring, make it shorter, and use electrical tape. If I had known that I could have done it myself, I would have saved over $500. I took pictures to document this, and upon consulting other shops, they informed me that the work done was not OEM.
I highly recommend Eurospec if you want a shop that treats your car with as much care as you do. From my initial phone calls before bringing my car in, I had a great feeling I could trust them. Meeting the team in person only reinforced that feeling—they truly listened to every single symptom I described. This level of respect is rare in the automotive industry. Unfortunately, as a female, I’ve often felt dismissed by mechanics who assume I don't know what I'm talking about. What a stark and refreshing difference it was to know I was genuinely being heard at Eurospec. Their communication and status updates throughout the service process were fantastic. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back whenever it needs service. Thank you, Eurospec team!
Many repair shops will not work on an Audi, so wanted to find a shop where that was not an issue. Euro Spec fits in that space, and have been great to work with. Asked them to replace brakes, they did the front based on wear but said rear still has life. Did an inspection, offered a list of soon vs later recommendations, which was very helpful. Will plan to go back for the next Q5 maintenance.
Euro Spec does a great job keeping our old Mercedes Benz cars on the road. We appreciate the great service and will keep coming back.
