My husband and I recently just purchased our first home. With the help of Mr. Hammond and his team, we were able to purchase at a rate 1% lower than market average saving us around $140 monthly in payments. James and his team were responsive, personable and thorough through every step of the process. We highly recommend equifund mortgage for their excellent customer service and competitive rates!
We thoroughly enjoyed working with James Hammond on our mortgage. James is personable, professional, and very responsive. We closed on 10/27/2025 at 5.75% on a condo with same closing costs as other lenders offering 6.75 - 7.00%. The lower rate saved us $129.27 per month, equaling $55,563 interest saved. With the rate being so low there is no need to refinance which saves us future closing costs
EquiFund was able to get me a 1% lower interest rate than everyone else! Jim was communicative and responsive throughout, and showed me how my monthly savings could be applied towards principal to pay my loan off 6 years early and save over $75k! So glad to have found them!

Jim and Alex were simply amazing. To start, they were able to work magic and get us a rate of 5.875%! In this market that is unheard of. On top of an amazing rate, their commitment to service is unmatched. They were readily available to answer any questions we had and helped us navigate a sometimes crazy situation. Their knowledge of the process was a huge asset. Hopefully we will be in this home for a while, but when we buy again I won’t use any other mortgage company! Thank you again Jim and Alex!
