Epic Theatres in Saint Augustine delivers a surprisingly premium experience without the premium price tag. First off, the ticket prices are refreshingly reasonable, which already puts it ahead of a lot of theaters these days. But what really stands out is the comfort. those recliner chairs are next level, making it way too easy to settle in and forget you’re in a movie theater at all. The layout is another win. There’s plenty of space between the rows, so you’re not feeling cramped or dealing with knees in your back. In fact, some of the smaller theaters only have three rows total, which gives it a more private, almost VIP style viewing experience. The lobby is its own vibe too. more like an arcade than your typical movie lounge. It adds a fun, energetic feel before you even get to your seat. The only reason it’s not a full five stars is that while everything is solid, there’s still a bit of room to elevate the overall polish and service. Overall, Epic Theatres is a great spot to catch a movie. comfortable, affordable, and a little more fun than your average theater. Definitely worth coming back.
We absolutely loved this theater. The seats recline and are very comfortable. They sell self serve popcorn in the lobby. You pick a popcorn container size and fill it up. Then you take your popcorn to the pay station and it rings it up for you and tells you what you owe. There was an attendant available if help was needed. I would patronize this theater again.
This was by far one of the worst movie theater experiences we’ve ever had. Every single trash can throughout the theater and even in the bathrooms was completely overflowing. When we got to our seats, they were covered in leftover popcorn, drinks, and trash from previous showings. We literally had to clean our own seats just to sit down, and the people in front of us had to do the same. To make things worse, the movie started with technical issues, and halfway through, a group of teenagers came in screaming and completely disrupted the experience. It was dirty, disorganized, and poorly managed from start to finish. We will absolutely never be back.
Epic Theater of St. Augustine has been great! The staff is kind and friendly. The serve yourself style of concession seems to streamline the pre movie process. We have only ever viewed in the IMAX theater, so I can not speak on the condition of the others. But, the lounge seats are the entire reason we travel an hour to watch a movie in the theater! The final mssing star is because of the games. My husband and I were excited the first time we were at Epic; there are many fun arcade games available in the lobby. However, the majority of the games did not work, or didn't pay out properly. The management was great about it, though. We were given credit for 3 tickets to replace the cost of our waisted "tokens"! It would be even better, however, if all the games worked. If you're in the area, or headed that way, and want to watch a blockbuster, give Epic a try!
The Epic Theatres of St. Augustine is a great place to watch the newest movies with family and friends. The theater offers comfortable reclining seats, reserved seating, and an IMAX screen that makes movies look and sound amazing. The building is clean, modern, and designed to give visitors a fun and relaxing movie experience. (EPIC Theatres) One of the best things about Epic Theatres is that it has something for everyone. Along with delicious movie snacks, the theater also has an arcade where guests can play games before or after their movie. The friendly atmosphere, comfortable seating, and high-quality movie experience make it one of the best entertainment spots in Saint Augustine for people of all age
