This is our favorite theatre. We come Orange Park/ Fleming area. The seats are super comfy. It’s always clean. I do wish they would get away from the dystopian kiosks/order your snacks on a screen thing. It’s eerie to come in and have hardly anyone there working or having 3 employees all doing multiple jobs.
We’ve been coming to the Epic Theatres at Oakleaf with our kids for years, and we absolutely love it. It’s one of our favorite family outings. The theater is always clean, the bathrooms are well maintained, and the staff is consistently friendly and amazing, which keeps us coming back. My only complaints are that the food and drinks are very expensive, and the stairs inside the auditoriums are extremely dark. It can be difficult for kids to see when walking in or out, and I’ve noticed some people have to use their phone flashlights, which can be distracting to others during the movie. Motion-sensor step lights would be a great investment, they’d make the theater safer and improve the experience for everyone. Overall, we love this theater and highly recommend it to families. We’ll definitely continue visiting for years to come.
I am extremely disappointed with the way my children were treated at this theater. After purchasing their tickets online, they arrived at approximately 7:20 p.m. and were refused entry because they were told they could not enter after 8:00 p.m., which made absolutely no sense since it was well before that time. They were initially told they would receive a refund, only to then be informed that the money would take three days to be returned to their card. What made the experience even worse was the inconsistent enforcement of the policy. While my children were turned away, they watched other underage teenagers enter the theater without an adult. Staff then brought up concerns about "takeovers," unfairly associating my children with behavior they have never participated in. No customer, especially respectful teenagers, should be stereotyped or denied service based on assumptions. When I spoke to a manager, I was told this policy had been in place for weeks. However, my children attended the same theater just two weekends earlier without any issue or mention of such a policy. If rules have changed, they should be clearly posted online before customers purchase tickets, not enforced inconsistently after payment has already been accepted. This experience was frustrating, embarrassing for my children, and a complete waste of time. The lack of clear communication, inconsistent treatment of customers, and poor handling of the situation have left me with little confidence in returning or recommending this theater to anyone.
Always a pleasure. Everyone is always nice and helpful. Clean and not congested life other theaters. Reclining seats are comfy, not freezing cold in theater. Easy to sit back and enjoy your movie with a huge popcorn bucket.
Incredible reclining chairs, tons of legroom best theater I've ever seen a movie at as far as comfort, legroom and privacy. the rows are so high. you can't see the people behind you!!! Quite the treat. I've never been to a theater like this in my lifetime- and I am 60 years old LOL. you will love it
