Enterprise Learning Academy hosted the most awesome kindergarten graduation ever. Every student received some kind of award besides their diploma. The students were well behaved but still had fun. The staff was friendly, helpful and eager to assist. The Principal Mr. Jeff Collins, was amazing and patient with the staff students and parents. He took the time to greet and acknowledge everyone. He treated everybody like they were somebody. Everything was well organized from start to finish. Amazing fun filled day but more importantly every student left feeling great and proud of their accomplishments. Last but not least, the graduates got to wear really cool sunglasses 😎 and they were just EPIC!
If I can give ZERO stars I would. Terrible staff at this school. They don’t care for the kids anymore and treats the parents with no respect. they are very lazy it’s disgusting. I went there a few times while school was in session, I observed and noticed a lot of RED FLAGS. For one, the way the teachers yank the students up and yell at them. I bet the parents will never KNOW. Sad! There’s kids running around that school cursing saying words adults don’t even use. Very nasty school nasty staff no organization whatsoever. FIRST AND LAST YEAR. Can’t wait til they shut this school down and build a new one with ACTUAL REQUIREMENTS TO TEACH/ BE A STAFF AROUND KIDS!!!!!!
I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an incident that occurred at Enterprise Learning Academy on 4/23/26. I visited the school to speak with Vice Principal Ms. Campbell regarding a school event and to respectfully request an exception, as I received the notice late. Prior to speaking with her, I communicated with Ms. Darden. Unfortunately, from the beginning, I felt dismissed and that my concerns were not being heard or fairly considered. After this interaction, I remained at the school for approximately two hours 2pm -4:15pm waiting to speak with the principal. During that time, no one informed me that the principal had already left the premises. This lack of communication was frustrating and inconsiderate of my time. More concerning, however, was the behavior of the front office staff. While I was waiting, I observed staff members gathered together laughing. As I was leaving, another staff member approached me and informed me that I was being discussed among the group. This behavior is highly unprofessional and inappropriate in a school environment. I’m not sure what was funny to them exactly, a Mother coming up to plea for her child. A Mother whom is heavily involved at the school. I want to emphasize that my child’s teachers have been excellent, and I appreciate their dedication. However, the conduct of the administrative/front office staff during this experience did not reflect the level of professionalism and respect that parents should receive. I hope someone will look into this to ensure that no other parent has a similar experience.
Probably the best school in all of Duval. 3 of my kids have completed elementary here. Mr. Collins, the principal is attentive, amd engaging with all of the students. He makes ELA feel more like a small town vibe than an enormous city type school. I would highly reccomend parents enrolling their elementary ages children here.
Horrible school, no leadership has ever been present to speak in person, all leaders are too busy to speak. When asking to make an appointment, Miss Jenkins told me she doesn’t have the principals schedule. After asking for the piece of paper to sit in the classroom, she said she was too busy and I can’t wait. Snapped at me and was so rude. I am blown away by how awful the staff treat the parents, like a tax collectors office. My Son got suspended for two days and staff are so hateful and disrespectful. His IEP says he is hyperactive but that is one of the reasons they are trying to kick him out. Before suspending a child, leadership needs to meet with the parents and discuss the child in person, not over the phone. First substitute teacher he has, and they want to send him home for disrupting a special needs class. Biscotti is just as careless and mean as the others, telling me tours are NOT her job and just being rude. Assistant principal Campbell told me I’m being “difficult” because I feel that there’s unfair treatment and discrimination cause staff doesn’t know how to treat their students. If I could talk to principal Collins in person, I’d probably be better, but you can’t Suspend a kid and still be too busy to talk to the parents when the rest of the staff is rude, hateful, short-tempered and disrespectful. DO NOT enroll your kid here, TERRIBLE school.
