  Would not recommend this church to any of my close friends or family. I am deeply disappointed in the experiences myself and family have had here as well as my close friend who themselves were incredibly let down by the church. They spent so much time growing close and helping and volunteering at this church but only to be driven out. The moment they began to realize the amount of toxicity that is held in these walls was the moment everyone withdrew. Eventually they had found out that they have a degenerative disease requiring lots of surgery and pain and the people in charge told them that it was probably something God had given them for a reason and that they need to repent and they would be healed. When my friend had spent their whole life following God and living in his ways. To then when they said that, wondering in what way God would give them such a terrible disease the churches adults started rumors about them and shoved them and their family away from the church. I am deeply hurt that just another church chose their judgmental ways and toxicity over helping a truly good person to at least feel that they have community. I suggest to keep your friends, family, children and anyone you care about away from emmaus church and not become involved in this toxic environment
